I'm currently dying from cancer at 39. And if I could have one wish it would be for Flynn to play this acoustic cover when I pass.
@DeJuanNOnley5 жыл бұрын
The fact that I had even one dislike to this comment disturbs me. You (whoever you are) don't give a shit about people who are dying? You sir/madam are the ultimate asshole.

2 days ago, I got a call from my mother, telling me one of my best friends, was involved in a double homicide... we met when we were 14 and forged our first band together that only lasted a summer due to us living a ways apart and going to different high schools, but every time we met up out of nowhere over the years it was like we never stopped talking. We always considered ourselves each other's twins because we were almost identical and our birthdays were two days apart, and we had both had a passion for music that we felt no one else could match.. I was thinking about him at work and this song came into my head even though I haven't heard it in forever, thank you Robb for this cover... RIP Blake, your were taken from us far too fucking soon, but you were and always will be, loved by so many, love you man I'll see you on the other side. To those of you who read this remember, live for today, cause tomorrow never comes.

Lycrils - Gather the wind Though the wind won't help you fly at all Your back's to the wall Then chain the sun And then it turns around and face you As you run, you run, you run! Behind a smile There's danger and a promise to be told You'll never get old Life's fantasy To be locked away and still to think you're free We're free We're free! So live for today ´Cause Tomorrow never comes Now you´re gone, Now you´re gone Can't you see the writing in the air? Now you´re gone nanna, Now you´re gone Someone stopped the fair Gather the wind Though the wind won't help you fly at all Your back's to the wall Then chain the sun And then it turns around and face you As you run, you run, you run! So live for today Tomorrow never comes Die young, young Die young, die young Die young, die young, young Die young (x7)

+Ian Gates I lost my mom to cancer in 2010. She fought for 3 years but in the end she did all she could. This is her tune from me nowadays. The other thing is that I met Rob back in 96 at a show in Sacramento and he was pure fucking cool. He isn't that much older than me but I've always looked up to him for being a great musician and good man. When I found this I felt his pain. It'll be there always.

Rob Flynn is the single greatest musician who ever lived, the man is my hero; my idle! but its all good being an amazing metal guitarist and singer, but rob flynn... this guy has raw talent, not alot of other musicians could pull this kind off stuff off, let alone do it and make it look so easy, and so full of fucking passion! i don't know debbie, but all my sorrows and respect goes out to the families and friends that she touched. And Rob, Thankyou for this fucking master piece.

I was actually related to Debbie Abono. She was a distant cousin of mine. That which we also share the same last name Abono. My father had actually told me about her after she had passed and how she was linked to the metal world which I though was awesome. Wish I could of got to meet her and hear her stories. RIP cousin.
