@TYLOTYLOTYLO I know this is banter but perhaps Englad really would have 20 worldclass players in their team if the media and their fans weren't so toxic. Makes it nearly impossible for players to thrive. For example, Sterling and now Saka, Foden, Mainoo. There is so much negativity attached to those players. When they perform well, people can't even praise them without a comment about how they are overrated. They have a few bad games here and there and it's suddenly the end of the world. Yamal is lucky to be Spanish. He can grow in am environment that encourages expression. Sure, Spanish media have their own issues but many balon d'or winners have come from the Spanish league regardless. If Mainoo were Spanish, he'd definitely have better chances of becoming worldclass. I think he's excellent. It took 2 months of first team football for him to get his call-up! Age aside, if you're ready, you're ready. If you can get the job done, you're good enough. Even if you want to get nitpicky about Kobbie, there are very few faults you'd find with him. Is he a bad passer? Is he a bad dribbler? Is he awful at shooting? What about his link up play? And defensively? How about ball control? Does he push forward or does he play negative, sideways football? What about him is so poor and what is he lacking that makes it impossible to praise him when he does well? The original commenter did not outrightly call him worldclass but alluded to him becoming worldclass with time and consistency. The original commenter also stated, non-verbatim, that he sees worldclass attributes and it is true. What makes a player worldclass? We don't really know but for a start, being able to do simple things well and make difficult things look easy separates the worldclass from decent/good players.

The WC tag is so subjectif. Having WC abilities doesnt equate to being world class. For me you'd have to perform at a wc-level for at least 3 yrs. The trophies won make you surpass are Bonus .Kobbie, Jude, Yamal, Musiala aren't there yet based on my view. Make no mistake about it, there are still levels between 2 wc- players (ex: Salah & Saka or Kdb v Foden). Some people might call the level above world class ELITE

Deep this: - african nations cup, mid-season was lit - the kids have been outstanding in the euros - regular big club players have failed to impress Therefore fatigue has probably played a big role on the players form, since the euros came at the end of the season. Be careful when bigging up these up and coming kids, we could just be hyping them up for their fitness levels and not necessary skills
