The album which slipped Robbie's mind is Mystic Man the follow up to Bush Doctor , released in 1979 before the 3rd lp released on the Rolling Stone label in 1981. Word Sound and Power in 1976 as evidenced on the video shot at the Beacon during the Legalize it tour was made of Sly and Robbie, Errol Tarzan Nelson and Earl Wire Lindo who was back then living in the US when he deserted the wailers in 1973 to play with Taj Mahal, Al Anderson and Donald Kinsey on guitars, Skully Simms on Percussion and Karl Pitterson on monitors. The same line would be found in Equal Rights in addition with Carlton Barrett and Tyrone Downie.Probably Jah Guide and African were recorded in 1976 before Bob's and the wailers exile in the UK from December 1976 , following the assassination attempt. Robbie Lyn’s attitude is so laid back, it’s easy to forget that this man is truly a maestro and a pioneer of Reggae music. Jamaica produced 5 truly outstanding keyboard players: Jackie Mittoo, Robbie Lyn, Peter Ashborne, Earl “Wya” Lindo and Harold Butler.

It's great to hear the story of the men behind the music who built the backbone of the songs for the artists to perform who normally doesn't get any credit for the way they season the songs with their instruments. The delroy Wilson song for the rhythm for she's royal is they can't stop me but it's played differently also horns were added. Please try to find and interview more of the living veteran musicians. Keep up the good work 🔥🔥🔥

Real Talk Mr. Lyn this idea of one Vs another, NEED to stop. A radio station in London, UK strives on this concept and asked me to be a judge on these events. I did two and told the presenter that it is not right and stopped. The music is a mission, and NOT a competition as King Shango rightly said.

5:35 Phil Callendar! I met him in 1992 at his demo studio on Molynes Road. I found out later that he was one of the greatest drummers of the early Reggae era. I utilized his studio to record a demo of my original music with my band Black Widow. The first time Phil heard my song "I've seen a Lot of Wicked People", he told me those were the best back to Africa lyrics he had ever heard in any song. I'll always treasure that memory. May Phil Callendar rest in peace.
