So the other day as I was driving I thought, "I can't think when I last talked to Robbie. I should call her and tell her how pretty my new garden turned out." And then I realized - oh my goodness, we don't know each other! Lol! That's how much you have influenced me. I have prayed for so long for a mentor to show me how to garden - a lifelong dream I couldn't begin until recently. Thanks to you my passion has a little know-how now and I am sharing what I have learned from you with my neighbors and mentees. So grateful for you and pray blessings upon your life (while I am beginning to eat what I grow, of course!)

Since zucchini is all about that grew for me this year, I figured out a way to cook it that has become our favorite. Even my sons friends who came over for dinner recently went crazy for it. Slice the zucchini thin length wise. About as thick as two quarters side by side. Marinate with fresh chopped garlic or garlic powder & your favorite Italian dressing for 30-60 minutes while you prep other food. BBQ the zucchini till just cooked & has grill marks. Salt to taste. Another is zucchini pancakes. Recipe online. Top with Parmesan cheese. Yum!

YES, use your own soil. I do. I even make potting soil from my used compost-in-place pots plus coconut coir (instead of spagnum moss) to lighten the soil for new seedlings. I do have a regular compost bin where I put excess leaves and weeds that I collect for additional soil additive. Grow your own!

I got cold from an air conditioner and I'm breathing hard. It hurts when I move and for three days now I haven't done much with my plants... Your video came as therapy for me!!! Your gardens are so beautiful. Especially the bird garden and the ones with the colorful chairs are my favorites!!! Here I still haven't been able to find collard tree, walking onions, some of the mint kinds, peppinos and some others... I don't think I'll order them from abroad because the transport costs are a lot... I'm starting to get used to the idea that I won't ever be able to grow them...😢 I look forward to the soil discussion, it will be interesting! The more the EU promotes insect eating, the more I want to grow my own food... I am not willing to eat crickets, cockroaches and worms myself or my child because they are all paranoid and sadistics... Thank you so much for the courage you give me Robbie and thanks to you I too can grow some food for me and my child! God bless you and your family ❣️🙏🌻 Oh and I love your daughter's garden! Full of food and goodies! As soon as I can move, I will get all my peppers on shade! Seems it works better for them! 🤗

Man that is so Hot !! We cooled off for 2 days here. Heat wave is coming back .Where was your Wagon or i meant your wheelbarrow, i use my grandkids old wagon for my gardening outside when ever i get outside to garden, but i do not do much outdoor gardening anymore ? it seemed you needed it for your Harvest for your squash. Robbie do you grow Pumpkins for Halloween?🎃 Your Tumeric and Ginger and Stevia are looking so well and Healthy. I Love your collards and Dragon fruit Plants . The Bird Garden Room is Beautiful. Have you named your Bunnies yet?🐰🐇 That Cactus🌵 is huge, My cousin gave me a beautiful Cactus plant i enjoy looking at it also.🌵I do not like the clear bowls either for the fountain they get yellow and hard to clean. have you ever used LAHONI Watermelon nets reusable Melons Hammock Netting with drawstrings, Fruit net bag for supporting Garden growing . My Grandson lives in a really hot area,☀ he plants Watermelons🍉 he uses these for supporting the Watermelons , Melons. He buys them from Amazon 100 bags in one package. I told him about the Tulle he orders Tulle now. My Grandson now watches your show. Previously had used Panty hose for supporting the Melons. His Mom would find Panty hose at the thrift stores unused still new in the package, No one hardly wears pantyhose these days my Daughter in law says its so funny at the large amounts of new in package panty hose there is.😂 The Meadow Garden is Flourishing. That Red dragonfly is so Awesome. My Scarlet Runner Beans are doing Beautiful. Lovely Monarchs🦋 and Dragonflies and Birds all over our yard. The little Squirrel🐿 visits my balcony every morning. he does not bother our plants at all. No name yet either ?🌱🥀 We buy the dry cobs of corn🍍 for him and Sunflower seeds🌻 and Unsalted peanuts in the shell. 🥜We had to take our hummingbird feeders down, there getting swarmed with wasps , Yellow jackets. This was disappointing. But the Hummers have the numerous flowers we have around the yard. I picked up a Pineapple plant🍍 just ornamental purpose only. Oh i want one of those storage benches. Your Lucky to have 2 trucks you and Gary.👨‍🌾👩‍🌾. Was Kitty waiting for her Broccoli ? 🥦 Thanks for the tour all around that was Fun. Your garden's changed so much. The bagged soil problems are pretty complex. We all need to engage in more soil building practices and not rely on buying soil. Are all the watermelons up against the wall showing the same deformity that's facing the wall or do different ones have the flatter side elsewhere because of the flat side is facing the wall on all of them I would say that the wall is the problem

I don't know if you noticed it but i already posted this on another video from a couple of days ago, where you told us that "a deer came down."; A deer came down from nowhere, as if it fell out of the sky. It dropped in unexpectedly and people wondered why. "It's too early in the year for deer!" Why it showed up now remains unclear. "The natural order of events somehow surely must have gone awry!" A deer came down and with a frown strode hesitantly up the drive. "I don't know these people but they do seem nice and it might be worth the strive. It's a one time opportunity to improve from our old community. I'll get my family from out of town and show them a different life!"
