Make sure to put a sealant in between the two layers of the shell when you cut the fenders so that moisture doesnt enter the body

Robbie you can have the bumper and fenders moulded, but still seperate put a layer of like wax paper or separator between where the seams would be and mould it so that it is smooth, then paint them seperated.

use plastic trim snaps to mount the kit , no need to access back side , just fiberglass tabs on the inside of the kit and drill holes in metal fenders for snaps ;)

I was thinking about just writing ’Ducktap’ but tbh I’ve been following for since the start of Wish Civic build because I was intrigued to see someone putting their trust in Wish to start with. The Civic looks so much better now though.

epoxy glue "side skirt clips or moulding clips " under the kit ...and drill holes for attachment..if you get the idea..hahah..oem fender flares / side skirt are usually attached by clips

all you need to do is google " brz headlight wiring diagram " and look for the wire that says its the "parker" wire. thats the wire that connects to the boomerang, so all you'll have to do is cut that wire and hook it up to the DRL power wire, dont forget to ground it.

You might be able to resin some fiberglass L brackets to the backs of the fenders so you can mount them to the body but no bolts on the outside. Thats what I’d try at least

Just FYI - you should always cover windows or other car parts while doing some cutting with angle grinder, those sparks can burn into stuff and it gets all rough and stuff

Hey, ok I was stunned with the video. I started to redo my 02 escalade Ext. First i had the WORST time finding honest mechanics to get what I needed. Finally found a guy after a year and It's going great. I rebuilt EVERYTING on drive train not even the stuff not needed. All new brake lines everywhere. And everything on each wheel brand new. Suspension completely replaced again even not needed items lol. Finally the body work rear quarters front fenders ( doors excellent!) ( Canadian winters so rust) Ok so Rust is done THIS WEEK !! Now My HUGE decision. The truck is an 02 Do i spruce it up by adding a body kit? ( looking at Cadillac Escalade EXT ESV Duraflex Platinum Body ) Ya think after so much time on my old guy a no go . Or The old guy needs a new look? Im so torn as I'll need to find someone to do this work. My current mechanic is like 70 and say. Trucks to old drive it then throw it away. But.. lol In reality the truck drives like new and the FRAME is mint still. So.. lol I trust his word on everything but that. Plus. I do not have what 20k to get a decent replacement. the damn thing is a mountain goat sure footed in snow. SO my question .. How do I know the body shop I go to is over charging me for a job like this? 4 piece install on escalade ext 02 should be around what? I only met crooked places so far ( new to my area) so I kinda need to know what is reasonable and NOT for time frame AND payment.
