I think the one world twist itself is actually an excellent twist in theory. Having everyone on the same beach to start means there’s so many more potential dynamics and relationships to highlight, and it’s unlikely that one tribe will just pagong another come the merge. doing this for a random newbie season in the 50s would actually be really refreshing

Agreed, the issue was always first and foremost the cast. I also don’t think the gender divide did them any favors. I get why they did it, since everyon’e on the same beach you gotta somehow be able to tell who is on what tribe, but I think they could’ve just done what they do now and have everyone be color coded via their outfits.

Yes! It's a great twist, sullied by its association with this cast and season. Definitely should be a consideration for future seasons.

I loved Sabrina and wish she would return… her day 39 confessional will always stick in my memory forever ❤ Also if I recall, didn’t casting intend to contact a different Sabrina Thompson and then find her on accident instead? Crazy…

Bill is a nice guy who got screwed by prejudice, but he didn’t have much survivor potential. He tried to steal an idol and chuck it in the ocean, then volunteered to go to tribal where he was then voted out.

The tribes living on one beach was an excellent concept that I would like to see return, the fact that they doubled down and made the two tribe split by gender was the disaster part.

While Sabrina was in the running for Second Chances, most of the other candidates did lots of campaigning online and interviews to drum up votes, but Sabrina did nothing. It was eventually revealed that her mother had either just died or was going through cancer treatments (can't remember which) so obviously she had other things to focus on. I noticed an edit when Mike talked about Sabrina - I wonder if he was talking about this and it was cut out of the video episode.

Christina deserves to be on the ballot imo, she got such a raw deal on One World. You can tell how much toll the repeated abuse she got had on her, by the end she’s just completely beaten down. She deserves another shot at the game where she doesn’t compete alongside racists.

I couldn't agree more with Aman. This is one of my least favorite seasons, but it definitely had me emotionally engaged when I was watching it, even if that emotion was rage. I loved Bill and his ouster was just heartbreaking, especially since the racial bigotry at that tribal council (and through much of this season) wasn't even thinly veiled. Bill's genderbending glam look at the reunion made me a total Bill stan.

Regarding Colton returning for Blood vs. Water and Jeff making a mistake for doing that, it's been widely reported that Jeff did not want Colton to return but he was outvoted by all the other Executive Producers and he eventually gave in, thinking that maybe he was wrong and everyone else was right. BvW proved that this was one time where Jeff was right and the other EPs should have listened to him. Also, the fact that Jeff said on BvW to Colton that he had quit the game during One World, and they left this in the aired show, seems pretty clear that as far as Jeff (and the show) are concerned, Colton faked his appendicitis to get off the show. Colton still denies this but you'd think that if he actually had medical tests/records that proved he did have appendicitis then they would have cut out the part where Jeff claims Colton was faking.

The people here who I'd want to see again - Chelsea, Kim, Sabrina - are all retired. Tarzan might be my fourth and he's too old. I probably wouldn't have put three people through. Monica Culpepper, Bill Posley, and I'm good.

Personally.. dont want anyone back from this season. The one person we wanted to see slay it in a returnee season got her chance and that is it!!

I would love to see Monica come back but specifically alongside Brad Culpepper. They could be like Rob and Amber in Winners At War but neither is a massive threat in this game. We’ve seen both of them almost completely separate of one another. Now I want to see their power together.
