Teofimo Lopez will defend his WBO and Ring Magazine junior welterweight world titles against Canadian contender Steve Claggett on Saturday, June 29, at James L. Knight Center in Downtown Miami, Florida.
In the 10-round featherweight co-feature, Cuban former WBO world champion Robeisy Ramirez returns against Mexico’s Brandon Leon Benitez.
The six-round televised opener sees middleweight prospect Nico Ali Walsh attempt to avenge his only pro defeat in a rematch against Sona Akale.

Excellent angles,accurate punching ,but the most impresive for me,is how cuban boxers defense,is able to limit high volume ofense minded boxers,specially in the power punches parameter,it was ,almost pedagogic.Great demonstration and "big pain",for some insecure boxing following.Lets wait for Divino to take the challenge!

Ramirez displayed a Great boxing IQ ,during the whole fight,certainly was a master class,about how to control "the tempo"and the blue print of how to fight and orthodox boxer,with responsible defense and very,very accurate,creative angles and unpredictable punch selection.

He should have implemented a rematch clause in the contract with Divino instead of lying to his fans about Divino not fulfilling his word of a “rematch” 🤦♂️😂 but he thought Divino being un ranked and unknown it would end early and easy 😂🤣 Now Robeisy just finished a guy whose been finished in all his losses by unknown fighters, and only 9ko wins in 21 fights 🤦♂️ and acts like he’s a bad man 💯🤦♂️
