This song is actually a Marine Corps song not an army song Because if you listen to it carefully 47 was the designation for our separation and our own birthdate apart from the Navy. It doesn't have a damn thing to do with the army. They just couldn't find anything that sounds as good as this theme.

There is no music on the battlefield (ring, octagon, pitch). Your mentality also needs a training. Do it whether you feel like it or not and don't make it easy... P.S. This is my opinion based on personal experience.

@Martin Sabucha There is no such a thing as 'weak focus'. However there is a willingness to accept (or not to) your present circumstances and situation. Your mind always tries to distract you, when it can't cooperate with whatever it is, that you're doing. Do not negotiate or discuss anything with it, just ignore. Only pay attention to the stillness in your heart (Not being spiritual or anything.) You can literally become mentally untouchable, when you find that stillness there(Don't know what else to call it). At first it'll be weird to see that you don't actually want to let go, even your worst thoughts, but in a couple of weeks, you'll be able to choose what to feel and when to feel it. P.S. People around you, probably will see your transformation and tell you, that you've grown cold, because at that point there's not much, that really affects you. You might wanna consider it, before you start, such a practice.

This song is a Marine Corps song. It has nothing to do with the army. If you listen to it carefully and know the history of it, 47 was our designation through a General, that separated our birth date from the Navy's. People that made this show just couldn't find anything better it didn't have anything to do with the army. They just didn't have anything that sounded as good as the Marine Corps theme.

If you can't keep a decent 7:30 mile pace.....pick another song. I love this song for the last mile. But keeping this pace for 7 miles is fucking hard.
