Robert Englund is a very (Underrated) actor, don't know why because he is one of the legends of HORROR, he played as my favourite horror character (Freddy Krueger) and if you was born in the 80's you would know what i'm talking about, on the sofa with soda and snacks at midnight doing an all nighter as a kid watching NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREETS

I love Robert, he's so sweet, but I have to disagree with him. The re-make failed b/c the actor playing Freddy was mediocre...He's a great actor, but played Freddy terribly. It was just like a bad comedic wannabe version of Robert's rendition of Freddy. Imo, they should have not tried to make him funny, and he should have just played him straight scary, and terrifying and evil and demonic, no bad jokes, or wannabe humor, or that terrible face mask...

What? Thats what made freddy above the rest is he could mess you up while cracking a joke in a sick way. The remake was shit tho, but the comedic part of freddy was going in the first nightmare. Although it depends how scared you were haha i laughed and loved every line from the first nightmare to Englunds last film

@@marked4death076 I no that, i’m saying that Robert made the role soo iconic that u cannot do it better than him, so if no one could do it better than Robert, the actor who did play Freddy in the remake should not have even tried to do it funny the way robert did, therefore he should have just tried to play the character serious and scary and not try and b funny cause he just made is look dumb...

@@chadtheall682 ohh i got ya, i agree.....but most complaints i do hear about the remake is they did make it too serious? Id have to watch it again, but ya thats a tough challenge and huge shoes to fill, be like someone trying to nail anthony hopkins in a silence of the lambs reboot? Hahaha good luck to them
