I found out my aunt had passed away today and this song came on... a sad moment turned into a beautiful realization. Her life was spent well and her impact on my life and many others was even greater. This music has a way to bringing those incredible things to light.

@@thematrix6830 black music does not trouble me at all ,like almost all music , i dont see or hear colour ,i someties have difficulty with strongly with strong reggae accents ,dialects and patious ,of course some white music does my head in ,german french ,almost all european music ,because i dont understand the language ,but on the subject of robert glasper have been listening and admiring his music for a few years now ,particularly like his interpetation of the stevie wonder song jesus children of america originally form the innervisions album ,an album i remember buying when it first was released in the uk ,in i think 1973 ,the reference to the sandyhook has brought a tear to my eye , there has clearly been a misunderstanding somewhere along the line , i have nothing more to say ,i am comfortable in my skin regarding my love of music regardless of race creed or colour ,if you dont believe me ,i can live with that .

I’ve been listening to this performance for a long time. Once it hits my ears, I’m suddenly in awe of the world around me. Got to see/INspirience Brotha Robert G in ATX last summer at a live taping/show of ACL! He was BLACKNIFICENT!!! And everyone the guest performers he brought to the stage with him! I LUV his version of Musique's song!!! So mellow. So smooth. So gently powerful and romantic!

I have heard of Robert Glasper. I went to the Atlanta Jazz Festival about 10 years ago and he was turning the crowd out. The next year he won a grammy.
