I'm working on my own comic and its always cool to listen to someones success story. I can relate to the comic store bit because if it wasn't for gas stations, grocery stores, and Wal-Mart, I would not have had access to comics and probably wouldn't be attempting to draw my own comic now.

If I am being honest, though he is a great comic creator... he was like us... he collected comics and was geeky like us... think abt that. This shows that everyone can be a Robert Kirkman

My first comic buying experience was in the brink of the 90s, I was probably 10 or 11... Groo by Sergio Aragones (mad magazine)... and Lobo, the killer you hate to love, and Dragon. Kirkman Rules.

yeah when they formed image they where the creator, drawing but they forgot about the writing, the writers. but they were still good reads for me

What’s the split between artists on say Spawn and McFarlane? Do they get to be co-owners of Spawn or is it more like the Marvel deals?

They own the property of spawn and twd dead themselves. Image is the publisher but the rights are owned by the creators
