Great interview, Curtain Call ! Just saw Robert "Kool" Bell with the band a few weeks ago. They still kill it ! Legendary ! "You don't have to change" is an unappreciated gem on the "Light of Worlds" album. You can hear how it influenced "Summer Madness".

My favorite bass player and songwriter. Robert doesn't get enough credit for the 70's funk sound.

@@CurtinCall I met Kool way back in 1979 in Detroit when Ladies Night came out. and he took the time to autograph a picture I drew of the group. Would love to interview him myself, but I would focus on the types of basses he's used over the decades.
