Hate the Patriots but respect Robert Kraft. When everyone told him that Jimmy was the future, he buckled down and stood behind Brady for all that he has done for that organization. I respect that, he showed loyalty to the person that brought that city titles. You dont see that with other organizations. Like with Favre, Emmitt Smith, Brian Dawkins, Peyton Manning, they were all forced out of town. Kraft knows how to appreciate his players. Something I wish My Eagles would learn.

I love how excited Robert Kraft is to give these cigars to his players. You can tell the team has a true family mentality. Some people are saying that "it's like buying a pack of gum." That is not the point, it is just the fact of how happy he is to give them to the team. It's the little things in life people.

This is simple. Mr. Kraft comes from the old school of appreciating the item..whether it be 50 year old cigars in a beautiful case or whatever. He's just trying to show the players that work for him and do a great job, that they're all appreciated. At worst, a player can put it in a case for a lifetime in remembrance of a great victory. The guy is a giver and loyal. Don't hate him because he's rich. He's an old man. Nothing wrong with him enjoying being the person giving out the rewards.

I agree. I've been a die hard Patriots fan since '83 and there were many lean years. I feel that the people who thought this years Super Bowl was boring will be the same ones who turn out to be fair weather fans.

Yeah Padron is a GREAT smoke! And ESPECIALLY a perfectly aged over 50 yrs Padron at that! I would need two of those sticks, one to smoke straight away, and one to hold for that perfect occasion. But man I'd really love to have me that custom Patriots humidor!

These are not 50 year old cigars. The Padron 50th was made to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the company. The company started in 1964, so you do the math. The original cigars in the humidors sold for around $100 each. The refill cigars you are allowed to purchase if you own the humidor go for around $30-$50 each.

Gesture or not he completely oblivious to what he's spending his money on. Piloto Cigars are Nicaraguan, and they are overpriced junk. Not to mention that for two years, since the embargo lift, now he could have gotten them some REAL Cubans. Not Dominican rip offs but some real Monte Cristos or Romeos and Julietta's.

These cigars are ***NOT*** fifty years-old. The blend is called the "50th Anniversary" because it was released (in 2014, mind you) to celebrate the 50 years Padrón Cigars had been in business.

@@seattlesneakerhead2526 I'm an editor at a cigar magazine. I know that cigar. I'm sure Jorge Padrón gave them to him. They're excellent cigars, but they're not 50 years old. In fact, you wouldn't want a cigar that old because it wouldn't taste like much. Kraft was just confused.

When you buy them, you're paying mostly for the experience of saying you smoked a 50 year old cigar. Either way, these cigars are not 50 years old. Kraft is a class act...the cigars signifies a toast...if you are naive to this gesture..no one is smoking them..its a celebration gesture...as drinking a fine wine....or eating a nice meal....all those cigars will be put away for memories..right along with the rings...all should enjoy this success...well never see a team reach 9 superbowls..or player..once brady is gone...brees...too...the era is lost...
