The raw talent, the speed, the confidence, it is all clearly visible in the way this man controls the car. Faster than Hamilton, Vetel and other World Champions in the karts, who could have he become? Another Senna? Shummacher? Life is cruel to take his chance away afetr all his struggle when he was young. I will never forget Robert Kubica, forever one of the best F1 drivers.

He's a legend. But like Schumacher, he shouldn't have come back. Especially that one hand handicap really hurt him and his performance. Still respect for trying none the less. Kubica was mighty and his 2010 season was INSANE, probably his best season. To rack up a second place and two third places. Renault must have been elated to have him. Probably their best driver since Alonso.

Its F-Duct, it has a little hood intake type on front. Its name "F-Duct" is cause the first car to ever have it had a VodaFone sponsor sticker, and the duct usually sat on the F of Vodafone. At least that's what I think, Might be wrong. Anyways, so what it does is, when the driver is in straight line, he covers a hole either by his hand (early design) or by his leg. So it diverts the air going into the F-Duct and increase downforce. Thus, gives you more grip and more power is planted on the ground in a straight line. On turns, you need less downforce to turn, thus the hand or leg is removed from the hole
@KonradKulwicki2 жыл бұрын
@@vicius996 It is the reverse. You need less downforce on straights, more in turns. So covering the opening in the cockpit decreases downforce. By covering that hole, the air moves through the rear part of the duct instead of venting into the cockpit, and is let out just before the top of the rear wing, decreasing the pressure difference and 'stalling' the rear wing flap and decreasing downforce.

Today’s F1 would be even more boring without DRS, because overtaking would be nearly impossible.

alex martinec I prefer real wheel to wheel actions than artificial overtakes on DRS zones.
@alexandermartinec37614 жыл бұрын
Juan Siahaan Parts like the front wing brake even with small touches in modern f1 cars. So real wheel to wheel action, like wtcr, is hardly possible.
@juansiahaan66984 жыл бұрын
alex martinec set the touching part away...let the driver decide their own distances, when to brake, accelerate and calculate their own risks. Overtake on corners not just on straights with DRS.
