He was everything to me growing up, I was born on August 18 as Robert but 20 years apart. I wrote a book as a single mom raising 2 World class athletes and I wanted Mr. Redford to direct it. Dreams! My son was a 3 x Olympian and still holds the world record in his event. My story was not easy to tell, I knew he could have done it! My son as a boy would watch The Natural “every time he could and” Dream” . Thank you so much for making that film, I think my son related to the adversity of Roy Hobbs.❤

Dreadful Speech

When I see someone who is an admirable person using the name of Jesus as an expletive, which bespeaks of their disrespect for God, I lose a lot of respect for them. For me, watching Robert Redford taking the Lord’s name in vain, was akin to him saying he wanted to run naked in the New York marathon. A disappointing aspect to his character. A weakness which maybe he might consider remedying. And as he is one who esteems the value of not kidding himself, he will realise, if he searches deeply enough within himself, that this propensity for taking the Lord’s name in vain, common to the acting profession, is nothing more than a foolish attempt to ingratiate himself with his peers, at the expense of losing the favour of God and those who love their creator. Yes he has done great body of work, and is a decent person. But without having a healthy respect for God, and all it that goes with it, he will be found wanting at the time of the great judgment. In this video on the actors studio, he is doing a marvellous job of teaching up and coming actors, how to be successful with his life’s work. He knows what he’s taking about. He’s got the acting business down cold. And also he is one who has the capacity to think very clearly. But I know what I am taking about. I am teaching the fear and love of God. And I too know my onions.
