Both are great; simply different. There is not one of them the best. Ce sont simplement deux visages qui enrichissent la dance. Bravo l’un e l’autre.

I got to see her in Berlin, she’s amazing. I love her Odile, I don’t think I’ve seen this danced in such a sinister and evil but at the same time gracious way.

Everything was superb and she nailed the fouettes and added some double in between for some more sparkle. If I didn't know any better part of her training comes from Ballet de Cuba amazing!

This different music originally belonged to Swan Lake, it wss lost or tossed, now its a stand alone piece for performances, Tchaikovskys Pas De Deux, my favorite stand alone piece

It took me a few seconds to get used to this piece of music being used instead of the usual black swan pas de deux music, but in the end I found it astonishing! The music, the choreography, and every movement of Semiona, and of course Bolle. Everything matches perfectly! I also like Balanchine's Tchaikovsky pas de deux, but I hope that music can be used in Swan Lake more as well.

Yes, used by Balanchine, originally written as an extra piece by Tchaikovsky - the ballerina of the day had insisted on a pdd for the ballroom scene (there wasn't one in the first version) and used existing music by another composer. Tchaikovsky wrote his own piece but matched the tempi and bar length. It's such a beautiful piece. Incidentally the solo for Odile used music written for one of the six princesses.

After watching Obratsova, this Odile just isn't convincing to me. Yes, technically she's beautiful, maybe even better, but emotionally and let's say, acting-wise, she's just not it She acts devilish from the beginning, leaving no room for the prince to be fooled, the difference between Odile and Odette it's so obvious the prince has to be dumb not to notice. Evgenia Obratsova plays it so subtle, so innocent, that you feel sorry for the prince. I recommend you watch it.

Polina è eccezionale!!!... Ma io preferisco la Zakarova, la trovo superiore a tutte le bravissime,.... È il " talento e la bellezza" perfetta con Bolle.

ザハロワとボッレは、めっちゃ美しいけど個人的になんか違う感じがあったんですが… 踊りの感じを見ていると、このセミオノワさんとボッレが本来のパートナーっぽいですね。人間関係が作る空気感って結構出ます。 セミオノワさんの黒鳥、一番好きかも。ガッツリ誘惑してくるけど下品すぎず…こりゃ女性を知らない王子はコロッと騙されるはずです 笑

Bolle is not the most charming prince Siegfried. Polina's Odile is certainly evil but utterly vulgar rather than charming, graceful and subtly intimidating; the queen would've never agreed for such vulgar, uncharming suitor. She does not compare to the mystique of Zakhrova's 2004 La Scala performance.

It was a huge success in 2004 version, why not just repeat it, how simple is that? there are lot things (technically) SZ did so effortless, graceful and nature, we may have take it for granted, but if you ask someone else do it (as good as Polina), just not same. Balanchine style is not for everybody.

@Rehmat Kaur , It did not really matter. in regarding SZ's performance in this role, I just want to say, if a performance (SZ's) has a few millions views that means something, hopefully, this one will reach to the #, only time can tell.

Это не балет, высокое искусство, а тупая демонстрация растяжки, баланса и высоты прыжка! Плюс откровенное самолюбование. Ничерта они не понимают, что и зачем танцуют! А "пятаки" на балетных туфлях какие! У Екатерины Максимовой наполовину меньше, и ножка смотрится изящно, не то что эти лапти 43 размера! А хореография какая убогая! Интересно, чья редакция? Небось, этого бездарного лгбтшника?

Это хореография советского Владимира Бурмейстера, для московского театра им Станиславского и Н Данченко. Эта версия там идёт и поныне. И ,о ужас, она многим больше нравится , чем в Большом.
