Epic Silver Score! Coin Roll Hunting Half Dollars
We opened a half dollar box LIVE last night expecting another uncirculated box of 2022 D Half dollars since that's what we have been getting lately from the Loomis Banks... but we were pleasantly surprised to see 90% Silver half dollars on some ends!
Let's see how much Silver Coins we found!

How often do you find silver in a half dollar box? Half, 25% of the time, 1 in 10? I want to look through some at Christmas Break, but I don't know how many boxes I'd have to search to find any silver.

My sister handed me a baggie of coins and said I could have them because she had no idea about them. 1884 Morgan, 1854 quarter, and 1850 something dime, 7 Indian heading Pennies, 3 90% halves and a 40% half and a bunch of wheaties. Yes they are out there.

I’d like to think I’m very knowledgeable on a lot of random topics. Had a guy come in with 2 rolls of quarters and some half dollars. He had a rollercoaster shirt on so I assumed he was a roller coaster enthusiast like myself which he was. He clearly however didn’t know anything about coins as he had almost 2 full rolls of silver quarters and all 64 half dollars. Goes to show a little knowledge on anything goes far

Man that 34 was so worn down. I was waiting to see a 1902 barber for some reason. Lol. I've never heard of anyone actually finding a barber half in circulation. I'm sure there's a few out there, but probly in older wrapped rolls. More than likely customer wrapped rolls. Great hunt! That was fun to see all those walkers. 😀
