This is definitely the music for a climactic bossfight between one-third and halfway through the story that completely turns everything you've learnt up until this point on its head.

Great song. For whatever reason, whenever I listen to this, I just imagine an optional boss fight where the metal parts play during the boss' attacks (like if it was a bullet-hell type thing like with Undertale or Deltarune, or a timed dodge/counter attack system like in Paper Mario), and the quieter parts are when you and your party are preparing to launch an attack, and it would dynamically switch between different parts of the song based of what's happening. Hell, if I ever make a game, I'd want to implement a dynamic song system like that. Good shit.

I'm positive you have to work on the OST for a story driven game (rpg / adventure) on which you're totally hooked on it. I guess this is the day your style of music comes closer to defined. I wish I could be of any help right now. Give me some more years until I'm closer to finish my own game since at least I can kinda hear your music while envision my dream :) (but first, let me down-regulate my KZfaq consumption, but on the other side why else would I know you?! EHHHHHH? :D)

The album seems really intriguing and with the description you gave, I am more than just interested. Will this album be free or will it cost money. Judging by struggling part in the description you may or may not do a song to probably show challenges and trials of not only trying to distance yourself from making undertale inspired music to not alienate the fans that come for the original songs while trying not trying to piss off the undertale fans at the same time, I’m just guessing.

I'm not too about pricing yet. While the pre-order costs money, you get tracks ahead of time before the planned release date. It might become free later, I guess we'll see.
