I always loved and respected Robin as a singer. He was my favorite Bee Gees. Although I was a fan of them all. Robin was much more than a singer, he was a very intelligent man , he also was very compassionate and caring person. RIP Robin. You are greatly missed. God bless your family.

Mr. Gibb should be proud of what he has accomplished with his hard work from childhood until his passing. This was not a “silver spoon” that he was born with, this was earned. He grew up in a hard-working family and learn those ethics as a young boy. He has shown deep appreciation and thankfulness (along with his brothers) to the fans for being able to perform and shared his love of music. God bless you Robin!! Robin's love for history reflects on his house and lifestyle, actually. I mean, which celebrity would spend all this money to rebuilt, repair and decorate this old place? He was a very talented, wise and educated man (and a bookworm XD).

Yes Robin is buried in the church grounds ,next door to his home , my dad rests there too , it’s a beautiful church ,stunning inside,and very old .

And I am so glad that the feeling was obviously mutual, as he chose to be buried in the town, rather than some mausoleum for the rich and famous, somewhere in London or something...RIP Robin, your courage in the face of adversity, and your kindness towards all creatures will always be remembered. I find it interesting how the 3 brothers were close but still private. Robin’s voice captured me at a young age. He truly is missed and so is Mo! 💞💞💞🙏🙏🙏

As a former resident of Thame, I can categorically vouch for Robin and his lovely wife Dwina. They are/were lovely people, not in the least bit snobbish or rude. Quite often, I remember seeing their bright yellow Roller driving down the high street, or occasionally Robin would call in at The Two Brewers (now closed, unfortunately) to knock the top off a couple of frothies (sorry, I am Australian. I should note here that English ale is not frothy, its just an Aussie turn of phrase) with us!

The cottage, the place where his brother Andy, lived his last days. Andy a wonderful guy, beautiful voice, Very sad that he left this world so young

What an awesome place ! Robin Gibb was not only a talented musician . He was an artist. He had a lot of taste. Of course he could afford such a place, with all the money he had. But it isn't showy . his house is a jewel. He was such a good person.

I would have given anything to have met him. Wow his estate is very beautiful, a sort of spiritual place and in many ways perhaps a bit like him. I would guess that of the three Bee Gees he was probably the most complex and spiritual of them. Could be wrong, but I loved him anyway. I think there was something very special about him. Unfortunately I could not know this beautiful place while he was alive. His interest in history, notably that of his country, is admirable. His love for the place where he lived half his life, becomes touching, especially when we remember that his remains rest there so close. Countless free concerts, aimed at improving the lives of the underprivileged can not be forgotten. A very human superstar. I love your musical heritage and your incomparable voice. Wow this is a very nice insight into a musical genius. I would also really enjoyed meeting him . I worked with a person who is from north Miami Beach whose father was a personal physician to the Bee Gee’s. He was also the owner of a record label called Souring Records. They had Robins solo music on that label when he went out on his own for a short period in the 70’s. He showed me some amazing personal photos he has of his father with all of the Bee Gee’s and also Andy Gibb as well. I had no idea who I was working with and his connections to them until he offered to show me those photos. They are also online but you have to go to a Bee gee’s fan site. I was one of the “ disco sucks” crowd when I was young. How wrong I was. I get a lot of happiness listening to their entire catalogue of music now. Wish I had the chance to see them but sadly I didn’t appreciate them in time. It’s my loss

Dear Jack, it took me quite some time to look up all the nasty words you used ...and you know what? "Squeeling " seems to be spellt wrong. Anyway, Robin and Dwina turned the Prebendal into a lovely place. If you ever had the privilege to walk around there or even inside -you would be overwhelmed. I shiver imagineing it would have been bought by one of the Beatles :-)

The one comfort I find in the death of Robin Gibb is that the man was at peace with himself and nature and it is very likely he had no fear of death because as John Lennon once said about death, "I don`t believe in it, it`s like getting out of one car and getting into another." Indeed John.
