According to one of the designers, 80% of the scoring happens at the end of the game. It's relatively unknown who will win the game until scoring cards, bonuses, etc. are revealed.

Lol You could do that, but.....not many people like playing with others who tank games because they are not winning. So maybe if you do it once for a laugh or two....but if you were in the habit of doing that...... Well, maybe semi-cooperative games are not for you.

@Sal Conz , sorry I don't agree with you for one bit. The idea behind this kind of game is that you work together while you try to win. If at any point you are so obviously ahaid or you allow one player to fall too far behind then you simply played badly and you can expect that player or players to drag you down with them. Now i'm not sugesting to use this as a go to strategy at the first sign of trouble dont get me wrong.

The cooperative part is mainly in rescuing Merry men that are not your owns from the jail, so you get a lot of point. A player is helping you giving you back a worker but with points, there is a couple of games like Trickerion and Concordia that use that mechanic. It's an interesting thinking
