The sound of that arrow going through the air and hitting the tree still makes me smile as it did when I first watched the series when it was first broadcast

For me, Richard Greene immortalized the character of Robin Hood. He was to Robin Hood what Johnny Weismuller was to Tarzan, and what Clayton Moore was to The Lone Ranger: the quintessential Robin Hood -- there can never be another, in my mind, at least.

I remember this as a boy , great stuff .

have this series on dvd now, it's my prize possession.

Loved this programme.

To think we used watch this in Mbale Uganda in late 60s .. Fanstatic
