I was at RVP debut away at Everton for United. Amazing player. One of my favourite united players of all time ❤️ . Saw him away at villa. He was immense that day.

What a player Van Persie was for us. Was such a lethal finisher his left foot was explosive the power behind it. Fact he comes back to Carrington to catch up chat with the boss meet the staff & players is amazing. Also great seeing a tour around Carrington. Just wait till Sheikh Jassim takes over our facilities will be the best again. I'm just visualising seeing Van Persie upfront in this United team under Ten Hag we'd be unstoppable.

RVP will always be one of my favourite strikers for us. Seeing the current players happy and laughing almost brought tears to my eyes. Erik is so important for us especially with the way he's come in and changed the team in such a short period

Sometimes I forgot RVP played for Arsenal because of the way he talks about the relationship between him and United. It feels like this is his true football home although he stayed much longer in Arsenal.

I used to be a Real Madrid fan when they had amazing players like Ronaldo and Zidane: and when I had zero knowledge about footie. When I heard United signed RvP, I knew I wanted to support United and they won the league that same year. I love United and will forever do. Thanks Robin for the wonderful memories

In terms of ability one of the best center forwards to play in the premier league he was just plagued by injuries. When he was on it as close as it gets to a complete attacking footballer.

Actually amazing how invested into man united RVP is, even though he was not with us that long, but he became part of the family. Just goes to show Fergies massive culture he left behind, and its good to see it coming back under Ten Hag. Been painful as a United fan all these years, also can't forget Ole had a huge hand in getting some of the culture back too

Crazy how he spent 8 years at Arsenal, but still managed to become a United legend in less than 3. If you'd of said in ~2007 that RVP will end up a bigger legend at United than at Arsenal, you'd of been laughed out the door.
