I find it most fascinating that people take the time to learn and master these old games that are extremely hard or cryptic

Thanks for playing through this! 👍 For over 25 years now, I wondered how the story would play out. 😅 I never managed to do this back then, it was just too hard. - Robinson's Requiem, a game that was so ahead of its time. It's very unfortunate that it was made in the 90ies ... imagine what it could have become today, with all the possibilities of the entertainment and software industry. 😎👍

Remmember had problems running the game years ago. I amazed me. Had this aura of real mystery and adventure. The detail of the world is amazing. Art style really holds up as something very unique.

Many years ago I played the Amiga version. This is amazing and mysterious game. I played through most of this game but never finished it. I enjoyed watching this movie. Thank you very much.

Darn, my dad had tried this game millions of years ago, but from what I remember he didn't manage to get through the cave and the game kept on crashing. It's nice to see this game at its full potential.

Yup. That was bug in cracked version on Amiga :) Everything was cracked back then, it was nearly impossible to get original game in my country. I had it too and couldnt go through the cave. Now I bought it on GOG for PC and it works just fine. Tell your dad maybe he would like to go back to it after many years :)

@@tlilmiztli Yes in my country it was the same, we were in the Red Block in the 80's and this cultivated a very high level pirate culture in entertainment and a high level smuggler culture in electronics.

Kudos for not saving at all, I remember never getting anywhere in this game because I broke my leg by falling from a ridiculously low ledge, getting blinded by the eagle (you actually lose half your screen if you lose one eye, and with both eyes gone you can reload, because it's impossible to finish the game), eating something I shouldn't have, and dying of Malaria (I was 13, I had no idea what Quinine was, or how to contract Malaria in the first place) or getting to close to anything with claws so many times...

This game was way ahead of it's time. Technology was not quite there for this kind of games but nevertheless Silmaris' vision was impressive. The game is damn hard. I had this on both AGA and ECS versions for Amiga. Base Amiga 1200 and Amiga 500 pretty much needed accelerator. ECS version was cut down on details and colors quite a lot.

I've been sort of fascinated with this game for a few years already, but I've never tried to play it myself because of the outdated control scheme. I know this is impossible but I would like to see a remake of it someday, it has some actually really interesting lore and concepts

It's a wonder a remake or a sequel wasn't thought of with the popularity of survival games these days.
@FellowshipOfTheAviatorZ Жыл бұрын
there was a sequel to this called "Deus" and there is a fairly popular survival gamed called "DayZ" many people play today.

Very advanced survival game in 94 with this medical system and I only heard about this days ago and I'm looking for interesting 90's game concepts like this for years now. What a shame, with a little bit more recognition there could be a little bit more popularity and with a little bit more popularity games like this could be a genre by now. I only can compare it to Project Zomboid what is isometric and Green Hell. I wish I could have this game in 1994.
