For those of you who don’t know what AWVR unstoppable is, I will explain it.
In 2001, a CSX train got loose out of Wallbridge, OH. The engineer noticed a switch was aligned wrong, so he set the independent air brakes. But his air brakes were not attached. He then got out of the accelerating train to get the switch. He threw the switch, but as soon as he did so, the train passed him. It ran with nobody driving for 2 hours. 2 of the cars had a poisonous liquid, called Molten Phenol. It did not actually hit a truck, it did not actually go around a dangerous curve that was elevated.
In 2010, they decided to make a movie based off it. The movie is called Unstoppable. The train gets out of the yard the same way. But this time, it hits a horse trailer. And there is a dangerous curve, shown at the end of the video. Underneath the curve are fuel storage tanks. The reason at Stanton there is a locomotive at the back is because there was another train, with somebody driving, going the other way. It pulled into the siding, waited for 777 to pass fully, and then chased it in reverse.
I will explain the scene with the guns.
There is a button near the fuel tank. If it is held in, it shuts down the locomotive. But it has to be held in to actually do anything, rather than pressed for a millisecond by a bullet.
At Stanton, look at the front of 777. It has actual damage! It’s tipping, too.
