This hits me hard since I’m around a 2010 player,as I’ve practically seen this game grow,and slowly destroy its self despite being that it was practically the community left to shame itself,I tho know that ROBLOX golden era has ended,and it can only come back if ROBLOX decides to bring it back which unfortunately might not happen,truly would love to see the sun shine once again and it’s glory to full fill it’s true purpose of being a national game platform where everyone can enjoy

As a roblox player who started in 2016, I may not be as old as someone who started say 2012 but I think I’ve been playing for a very long time, and I’m proud of playing the game, I remember very popular games of the era slowly dying out and now seeing games that may not be able to replace, but they try and I think a attempt is good even if roblox cannot fulfill it

As an og player of roblox that started around 2014 I am very disappointed on what this game has turned into. I still play it but it’s not as fun as it used to be. Like seeing these avatars like slenders and copy and pastes. Roblox deleted the old sound and added rthro which are things no one in the community wants. Roblox sometimes even lets inappropriate things like games and items get away. I once got banned for the most random reason that is not even bad which proves moderation has been horrible. I hope in the future this game is fun how it used to be

Started around 2008-2009 and created my first account in 2011, back when my brother had a PC, shit was slow as hell, could take minutes to load really basic stuff. I remember playing HL2, L4D and Minecraft Beta. Started to play ROBLOX due to some friends of mine that used say that it was a better version of Minecraft. Kind of like didn't believe them until I tried it. Used my brother PC and played as a Guest. I could last hours from evening to the next morning and it was great! I remember playing the ROBLOX iOS apps that were basically Natural Disaster Survival and Space Knights. It's really cool to see how far ROBLOX has evolved. Not even mad, it's just, impressive. There are stuff that I don't like, but still, it is still incredible to see how ROBLOX changed these days.

Roblox has even stopped doing egg hunts. Last event I can remember is metaverse heroes, and then the event tab has just been “OH SPOTIFY MADE A GAME COME PLAY IT PLEASE SPOTIFY PAYED US A LOTTA MONEY TO SHOW THIS HERE”. I still play Roblox. But I’m not going to buy robux, because i don’t support their current decisions. Roblox needs to learn, stopping others from calling your platform a garbage fire doesn’t stop the garbage fire, it’s like putting a blanket over that fire. They need to extinguish that fire with money being put into moderation, events, and overall, just put some money into the better of the players. If they can start actually helping the players, I might start considering buying robux. Also this feels like EVERY company is doing stupid stuff. Discord has the dumb username change, Reddit basically killed 3rd party apps, Twitter made Twitter blue and litteraly removed check marks, and Roblox is beginning to change almost everything that made Roblox, Roblox.

As a 2012 Roblox player who played for 10 years I can say that I am disappointed that of all the time I played it's been in a downward spiral since 2016 because Roblox has lost touch with what it was meant to be. An escape from reality not a reminder of it. It's sad for a game called "Roblox" you rarely see games made with of blocks even get promoted anymore.

As a person who started roblox in 2015, it’s sad to see that roblox only cares about Rhtro, Sponsors, 17+ games, changing games to “Experiences”, changing the logo to a less colorful and expressive one, changing the oof sound, making animated faces and layered clothing as a normal setting and making the clothes normal roblox players wear by the name of “classic shirts” and “classic pants”, etc. it’s sad to see such a great platform transform into a bad downfall.

"old roblox was so good you guys i miss old roblox" old roblox: a glitchy, laggy, poorly optimized, ugly looking mess that was full of stolen assets, had an unfunny community, had good events which didn't feel as good because of the engine, the same avatar over and over again (the classic blocky avatar), boring games (some of which were boring because of the engine such as the brickbattle games which today are my favorite games on the platform but back then absolutely sucked), had guests (i shouldn't have to tell why they're bad, any old roblox player knows how much of a pain they were), had tix (same thing), was absolute hell for programmers and builders, had a miniscule community composed almost exclusively of english speaking people etc.
