Besides the whole generalizing an entire community thing, that game's creator is kind of strange; they make a big deal out of not allowing anyone to screenshot or record their game because they "don't want to be popular. " The game itself is also made solely to milk the Kane Pixels hypetrain, which sort of contradicts him supposedly not wanting attention.

For anyone who is confused why they banned flamingo and his group from the game: The creator didn't see any flamingo fan trolling in it, the creator himself said that he doesnt want his game to be recognized by any KZfaqr and when he saw flamingo in the game he knew flamingo would make a video about it so he banned him and his group members from it

It was honestly pretty insulting for him to assume EVERY Flamingo fan is "toxic" or "immature". Now I understand there are some Flamingo fans who are toxic and disrupt the game, but it doesn't mean all of them are like that. I know he isn't fond of Flamingo, and it's completely normal to dislike people, but he didn't have to go and ban the entire fan base. That was an overreaction. He could've just banned anyone being disruptive or toxic, then leave anyone else who's just trying to enjoy the game alone. It wasn't right to ban the whole group, and he hopefully understands that he's going to have to deal with the consequences of his actions. I also don't understand why he's getting upset about his game being popular. It seems odd to me that he put his game on Roblox if he didn't want it to get popular.

They unbanned Flamingo fans, but the description of the game is all about how they thought all fans were one way, which I suppose is an okay accusation, but to ban an entire group, of eight million people, is an overreaction. I had joined for a small amount of time, and caught a few messages sent out throughout all servers, in which the owner speaks on Flamingo fans. One of the first ones I saw was "Something tells me I'm going to be hated by Flamingo fans for having them banned" My own opinion on this is; If you ban eight million people because they're in a fan group for a KZfaqr, yes, you will get hate, because actions have consequences. Banning that many people because one person was annoying is an overreaction. A very big overreaction. The fact that the owner was able to make and develop a full game with good quality leads me to believe they are at least old enough to understand this. They also sent out a few more, but one I had kept note of was, "I can't stand being popular" I mean this in a genuine way, but why would you make a Roblox game, and get upset when it gets popular? That's like saying, "Oh, I made food, but I'm upset someone ate it." It sounds odd. On top of this, a rule is to not milk the game for views. Now, why would you care, if you don't enjoy popularity. On top of this, if the owner deemed Flamingo milking it for views that is incredibly stupid and immature. If a person plays your game that you created and published, they are not milking it. They are playing it, as a public game you posted. I don't know why I typed all this, but typing helps me sleep and I'm tired.

I think the creator of the backrooms game just used reverse psychology on albert lol. I think he wanted flamingo to play his game but to stand out from other creators who just say "only flamingo fans are allowed" or "flamingo has admin" and blah blah blah, this dude was smart and he just banned the entire flamingo group. This awakened a sense of curiosity (as to why they are banned )within albert and his fans which in turn resulted in albert playing this game on an alt account. This is just my opinion. I could be wrong but yea to me it seems like a marketing strategy.

There are always immature people, but banning EVERYONE in a certain fan base is a little extra and unfair, you can’t assume every person in a fan base is toxic.

Regardless if there was a reason for the ban, the creator suffers from prejudice bias, unconscious bias, observer bias. Their stereotyping is not professional and it was stupid that they decided to do that, the message they displayed was immature, not stating a specific reason they instead choose to insult or belittle the group, anyone with even an inkling of marketing or common sense knows flamingo is basically untouchable and discriminating against him and his fanbase in any way will result in heavy consequences. :/ even if albert states he doesnt want them to go after anyone people are petty with revenge, just because he says no doesnt mean they wont do it. I think that the game owner just had a really really bad time with a few people that happened to be flamingo fans. They shouldn’t have banned 8 mil people and at least they should have given a reason.
