Yeah, now there is like fake versions that are purely cash grabs, I remember a game about surviving a flood, and the lobby was high up, and there was a smoke cloud thing in the skybox that looked like a giant person. Ah, nostalgic roblox

Sad thing is that a lot of these old games are slowly breaking with newer and newer Roblox updates. Sometimes doors don't work, sometimes things that are supposed to move don't, sometimes scripted events just give up...it's a shame, really.

Alright, so basically: Personal servers were places that consisted of only one server. The servers had a built-in permission system similar to ranks in Groups, and server owners could choose to give certain tanks access to stamper tools. Any modifications made while the server was running would save. In 2016, personal servers were discontinued, and existing servers were converted to standard places that anyone could join. The feature was partially replaced with Team Create, a Studio feature that allows developers to invite others to work on games with them.

I definitely remember this one game where you get to customize your person and just roleplay. It was pretty normal, there was a skatepark, hospital, houses, etc. But the 2 things that stuck out to me was the music when you join the game and the LAGGY cars.

I've played since 2009. The first game I ever played was the 4 way blox-battle between 4 stationary ships, and as a kid who was a complete lego nerd, I was hooked. This game has genuinely changed my life more than any other piece of media. I made friends on there I still talk to today.

It's changed alot on an administrative level and fundamentally as a platform I think. Not to mention the crazy difference in the sheer numbers of people playing. The new target audience is barley literate toddlers with the bright and shiny internet at their disposal. Shit games thrive these days, good ones remain broken.

The ability to add microtransactions to games is definitely the worst thing they've done to the game. I'm surprised Roblox hasn't faced any legal troubles because of how aggressive they're used and the amount of kids that play the game.

so many different games, items, sound effects, designs, etc. from old Roblox that brings intense waves of nostalgia. Roblox will never ever be what it once was, & I've had my account since April 2012. After it was introduced for mobile & Xbox, it slowly went downhill from there. it made the whole thing more children oriented rather than a game for everyone.

My first game was Survive the Disasters. I actually had footage of me playing the game (Roblox has/had a button that would record footage and save it to your computer) but the computer it was on broke. I wish I uploaded it to my google drive. It wasn't entertaining at all, but it was really nice to see how roblox used to be. I wish there was a game like Super Nostalgia Zone, except for 2012 games. That was when I joined.
