I’m not really surprised at this point. They keep on removing petty little things but refuse to fix the very big issue of by-pass items and the many people who wear inappropriate outfits and promote people who are bad. They also seem to just purposely do things that tick people off. Also, I hate the terrible bans. I got banned for saying “lmao”, and another time I got banned for saying “I don’t like your toxicity”.

They're selling the commando cheaper because they all used the 40% method and then everyone started panic selling when it went on sale (because everyone went to the page, since we knew EXACTLY when it would go limited), people were willing to sell for cheaper because they technically only paid 27000 robux for it.

In my opinion: Roblox should, instead of deleting comments completely, have an enable/disable feature. What they could do is default comments to disabled and allow UGC creators to turn them on if that's what they want.

5:05 its like the systems many games use that has a lobby with teleport pads or smth... it creates a new temporary server for everyone in a list that is empty and automatically teleport them its called ReserveServer and it does not give private server perks also no one will be able to join that server because they have a anticheat-like thingy where it would say "You do not have permission to join this experience"

5:34 dude I had a similiar thing happen 4 YEARS AGO in 2020, didn't know it was a vulnerability and just a small glitch (basically my friend used the in-game roblox invite to invite me to his private server which was turned off for friends so when I joined I ended up in a completely empty server with nobody able to join except my friends who used the join button, feels nice to know I actually discovered one of these things on ACCIDENT but it's still funny.)

When I bought a build a boat private server, 2 people joined me, and refused to leave. They didn’t chat, so I blocked them, but it’s really strange because I don’t know them, and I have never even seen them, I haven’t even sent a link of the server, because I just bought it, and just activated it. yeah i dont see a reason on why comments on marketplace items shoudl exist in the first place, but it's better they stay if its comments for plugins models all that dev stuff etc, its quite useful in that term and case unlike the catalog

i've seen a lot of comments with feedback and even put my own comments on items to give feedback, and they're also useful for recommending other items the creator could make. comments are very useful, there's just a lot of spam that buries the feedback

the whole spam problem couldve been fixed if they gave owners of items (and places too, remember they removed comments on those for the same reason!) to power to delete comments and yknow actually improved moderation ive felt so disconnected from this site for years, especially with that botched audio update. its just a steady downhill spiral

I think the reason why Roblox FINALLY took action on the usernames is because of a video that came out 3 months ago by Ruben Sim with 999k views about the Roblox moderation system. The reason I believe this might be the reason for the ban wave is because the username that was listed was pretty much the same as what I saw in his video when he was gathering usernames and accounts that violate for the experiment.

The comments being gone on the catalog will truly be a sad update. While yes, there are a lot of people who put those “/e free” comments or the copypastas, I find myself liking reading the comments of items that people associate with other fandoms, and that they use for their in-game cosplays. Like imagine seeing a bucket accessory and being able to bond over it in the comments.

The reason some people will resell it at a lower price, is because people are more likely to buy from THEM if they make it a little bit lower. If you can advertise yourself as the “cheaper” product, you’ll instantly become the “better” product.
