Actually, in the context the term he uses is fine. He was expressing how much less he was worth than sketch, saying "My life is less than Sketch," following up with "Actually, double as less as Sketch." The term would be weird if he said "Half as valuable" it wouldn't match his current topic. He was talking about how much less HE was, not how much BETTER Sketch was, there's a difference.
