Apart from the google maps part this is what i already do, except i import decals directly through studios. Although i make the lines one corner at the time. And so far only fictional tracks. But the difference is i have taken a looong time to figure it out, this tutorial will jelp people much faster. Hopefully we will see less shitty tracks on roblox now and more good tracks

I have just started building in roblox, and this is a great tutorial. I am getting my computer back soon due to it being broken. So, I will be able to use this soon.

For people asking to make a banked corner, me and a friend came up with an easy way. (Albeit not great, it DOES work for the A-Chassis decently.) Start by making the corner regularly. No elevation, no banking. Next, go over the corner and set the archimedes to Y axis, reverse axis, and swap side. Set the angle to whatever angle you want the bank to be (For my track with a high bank, I did 20 degrees.) Now, go back over this new copy, and extend it *outwards* about 5 studs. This helps line it up with the straight, as the placement from archimedes is slightly off. Finally, to transition between the flat and banked sections, place a triangle wedge block on the start of the bank. Resize it so it's dimensions match that of the banked section. (So it's as wide as the banked part is, and as tall.) Now extend it out in length a lot. The longer it is, the smoother the transition. You can also then use a smaller triangle wedge part inside of this, to smooth it out so it's not a linear transition. This takes MUCH longer though, and doesn't really improve it a whole lot regardless. Finally, go over your original copy of the turn and either delete (if you only want a bank) or resize it to determine the size of the runoff.

I have a suggestion, to fix the glitches you see on the tarmac, you can union them to fix that glitch but don't select the entire track then union it.

Even tho I already knew most of these steps. Was nice to learn about that you can resize the mesh itself. I didn't tried doing real tracks on the studio, but the start of this video surely helped! Suggestion: Please, next video kerbs, banked kerbs and sausage kerbd 🙏 (Please, I really need a good way of doing banked and sausage kerbs)

Hello! Great tutorial, but, I’ve figured out a much easier way to do track lines! On the first part you place down to start with, add the track lines to that, make it a group, then use Archimedes and your track lines will be within the track! You’ll just need to scale things down with Studio Build Suite for this to work.

Hi man, great video, ı have a question, ım making racing league and ı downloaded the 3d interlagos gp model. Not blender skecthfab I converted to fbx file and textures didnt loaded. Why is the textures didnt loaded? I mean satellite view Just loaded the heights of the circuit.

hi, im having trouble scaling the track; no matter how big i set the scale, it wont fit, all it does is make the block stretch higher

What I do to make the lines Is much easier I copy the track paste it than make one bigger than lower it by 0.1 and done perfect white lines!

It’s good tutorial but always when I pod into the game to try it my track falls into the deep, so I suppose nothing I holding the track, how do you fix that.

lol i had to rebuild my whole track 2 times because the first time i made one part the thinniest possible and didnt notice and the track didnt match with the start so i did it again and the second time i made the track slightly higher and i didnt notice again and i just had to do it again but then i did it correctly lmao

how come when i go to test that the track works some of the pieces are raised slightly higher and other stuff is out of place but when im in build mode everything is flat and ok? EDIT: i fixed it by anchoring the track.

No need to create a decal, you can just use the plugin devforum.roblox.com/t/plugin-local-file-importer-import-images-from-your-computer/310300 to import an image from your computer and use it to build. This plugin also lets you preview shirts, pants, textures without actually uploading the roblox library, without worrying about moderation deleting your decals, or banning you.
