Rules
-Version of the game : World revision 4
-Timer begins when you gain control of Robocop on the first level
-Timer ends when you hit Dick Jones
-Game must be finished using only 1 credit
-Dip switches on default settings and Machine Information must be shown on the video BEFORE the run start
-Mobile emulators are banned
-Aspect ratio MUST be set 4:3 otherwise your run will be rejected (you are allowed to use bezels and HLSL filters if you want to)

Level 1 : Nothing to say about this level , stopping the timer at 2:31 to 2:33 is something good , i'll take it
Level 2 : I improved my chainsaw guy strats , the truck could have been stopped faster at the end but it was a good lvl
Bonus 1 : there's no time to save on bonus stages , i really hate when the music starts playing faster at end of the level =S
Level 3 : Not the best start , but i didn't mess up the cobra strat and didn't lose health after the start
Level 4 : i decided to use a more risky strat on the 2nd stair and didn't died at the last chainsaw guy
Bonus 2 : =/ i can beleive how i missed one of the targets haha i think that a 45hit would have still got me a 100% , normally i would restart the run if i miss one of the targets since you don't get the extra health and i was dying in all my previous practices (and all my strats were based on a full energy start on lvl 5 ) but i decided to continue just to see how far i could get
Level 5 : THE level that took me more time to practice and finish without dying , super happy with this level time =)
Level 6 : A pretty basic level , super happy with my boss fight. To bad i didn't dodge in time to avoid one of the hits (it was actually my first time playing this level without the 2 extra life bonuses =S). I dont know why i picked the last health upgrade before the boss fight , i was already at full health i was nervous i guess
Level 7 : Another "low health" first time playing level, with my new strat having almost a full ar at the beginning of the level was required , so i focused on not dying until i got the full health replenishment at 5th floor , i wasted all my double shots so i messed up my backup strat against the last boss (i would have died if have to fight against him with no life). As it was my first time playing without the 2 extra life bonuses and i managed to survive adapting in real time my only strat i'm more than happy with this level
A huge improvement over my last run , 3m38s faster (O_O) ! can't be any more happy =)

It's funny how the game is ending while the final boss is still shooting homing missiles at you! :)

Updated on the site now, CONGLATURATIONS! I was reading a conversation between you and another guy in your last video and man,.. I didn't know how deep the strategies get. Very complicated. How many runs would you say you've done total?

Thank you =) i forgot to add the run on the site xD , i also wanted to record that moment (also my first time auto-validating my run ) Yes , while it's a short game , its difficult if you try to beat it normally , and it's super hard if you try to speed run it , there's no damage boost , so if you get hit you die , chain saw guys can easily kill you , triple shot guys also , every thing is aiming at you , so figuring out a good strat is a must in order to survive on a 1 coin run . Mmmmm only for this run i would say something near 200 if i count the times i was only practicing and all my unfinished runs (most of them because of dying , being super low on health or missing a target on one of the bonuses levels ) . Probably the same number for my first first real wr attemp , but again , most of them were unfinished runs

something that i always want to tell you but i always forget to do , so here i go , i found a long time ago a dude that created a metal slug x bezel based on your metal slug bezels (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mNSSkraY0tquaYE.html) , but i remembered that you said you haven't done any , but you added the little screen version for someone that asked for it as i was not doing so back then , so this guy was actually inspired by me to create a bezel and thought it was something done by you , that's super cool because it means that my metal slug bezels were actually good (not the animated ones...those are ugly) if someone thinks that they were made by you

@@pablocba I use your Metal Slug and Robocop bezels because they're so good. I think they're in my bezel pack, I wonder if I didn't give credit inside the pack. In any event, I think everyone who subs to me must know about you by now. When people ask me hard questions I tend to send them to your channel to ask you because I know you'll know the answers hehe.

@@DerekMoore82 i guess that those are the best one's i've made so far , i really love metal slug and robocop so i tried to do my best . As long as other people like them it's ok , i think i have your cadillacs and dinosaurs and maybe other bezel in my pack and i don't remember if give you credit inside de cfg file (but i think no one really opens it anyway haha) . Yep i've received some questions by people send by you , i like to help others whenever i can =)

im waiting for the mod to validate my run (???) LOL now it's updated. Yes after the first time i beat the wr in robocop 1 i decided to try robocop 2 , while i'm not 100% happy with that run (a lot of things to improve ,specially not dying so many times) i'm happy because i still hold the WR .

hahahaha he probably will , i've set the bar to high for him now , hopefully it will take some time for someone to beat this time . I managed to break the former wr before this run but the sound was not recorder and the image was super choppy at sometimes =( so i have to do it all over again =/ .

@@pablocba I noticed the drop in frame rate when all those enemies appeared out of the window. But the rules didn't say anything about frame rates. I wonder if the actual arcade had frame drop at that scene?

@@DerekMoore82 the framerate is always stable and the game runs at 100% all the time , it's the same that happends with metal slug games ,slowdowns. As they can i will mostly like happen on a speedrun i decided not to put any rules against them (the only way to avoid them is to kill as much enemies as you can , but you waste the cobra gun ammo at lvl 5 , and lose a lot of time at other levels too. MMm about the real arcade , i don't remember =( and all the real arcade runs i've seen so far are from the high score category were they kill every single enemy , so there's never a chance for any slowdows ,the only way to avoid those slowdows on mame is by overclocking the cpu or playing on a plus plus mame version
