This is probably the best crossover with the Terminator I've seen because instead of "X runs into Sarah Connor and fights Terminators" it joins the two properties at the hip and makes them integral to each other on the story. You can't just replace Robocop with someone else.

Huh. I just realized this comic is a reversal of the common Terminator story: it's now the HUMAN who's going back in time to kill someone, and the evil killer robots sent to prevent them from changing history.

Oof… I don't have much to say on the comic reviewed itself, because like many other things Linkara reviews my previous knowledge on it is mostly stuff I absorb from pop culture… but oh god the Lore™. c!Linkara is pushing everyone away because he's SO SURE of the path he's taking, it's beautifully heartbreaking. These are all allies, *friends* he got together over a long period of time, people he helped through the worst of times (let's not forget how he and Harvey even met in the first place, I'm still emotional over it). Now? He's alone. And he's not alone because of his enemies or the unspeakable horrors they put him through… he's alone because he thinks that this is the only way he can stop them, instead of relying on the people around him. Since I haven't seen what comes next, all I can do is make my little predictions: this is going to go B A D L Y. Rejecting the help and support of your friends is what usually gets people into messes like this in the first place… and for some reason, I feel like it's going to blow up on c!Linkara's face eventually. Distrust is rarely an aid in battle, and usually the thing that stabs you in the back when you think you're safe. Also crazy theory that the person who will become the Entity isn't Lord Vice(? was that how it was written), but probably… the man who's isolating himself and playing against him. Now to see how my theory miserably crumbles!

I see Linkara is becoming more like Vice.

In AT4W, we've seen Multidimensional horrors devouring universes, and a man who almost lost his whole life and family (i.e Jerris), but that ending has to be the saddest thing in this show so far.

I find the chess board state curious. Not only is Linkara playing a dangerous game where both sides try to out maneuver one another, but he's also sacrificed a number of pieces to the cause. Treating everybody like pawns, willing to lose his allies if it means ultimately winning the war. I feel like there's definitely some symbolism in that board-state.

im... ambivalent about the end scene. While I'm fairly sure I know where it's going with plot, I see it as a huge step back in Linkaras character. But there is one major factor that makes me think that things aren't at all what they seem. By the by, the periodic chess board does pose it's own interesting line of speculation, nice touch.

I swear this is all going to end with Linkara becoming the exact monster he was trying to stop, in some kind of Moby Dick meets self-fulfilling prophecy story twist.

Linkara you fool! It's not Sea Monkeys that will take over the world but the Seahorses. I love how Vyce is driving Linkara insane and he hasn't even done anything yet. However and I have to wonder this, what i it's not Vyce who will become the next Enity but Linkara himself? I wonder because Linkara is starting to act like Vyce.

I'm calling it now - Linakara has had the Entity inside him since at least the King of Worms arc. Vyce knows it, and has recruited 90s Kid to help him kill off Linkara, getting his petty revenge and killing the Entity all in one fell-swoop. It explains Linkara's recent dickishness towards his friends (wondering if any of them are truly on his side, which is probably the Entity working its way into Linkara) and why the King of Worms dropped dead from fear when he tried to enter Linkara's mind (he was a weaker cousin of the Entity, and thus would have been terrified of it). Remember during the Halloween arc, when the house had a ghost problem? Linkara talked to Nella about being possessed, and she talks about feeling angry, resentful, bitter, and, above all, SUPERIOR during her possession. Those words definitely ring true of Linkara's current behavior - believing no one is on his side, that he knows best, and steaming mad that 90s Kid would dare betray him when he's forgiven similar offenses in the past. The Entity is using Linkara as a vessel to stay alive, and his connections to the government to reenter the world as data through the satellites Linkara has been taking over.

...In regards toLinkara being the "only one" who saw the entity...that's not true. Nimue witnessed it. Does she get to say anything?

Linkara is turning into Tony Stark. Alienating allies, turning friends against him, developing equiptment, constantly fighting without so much as a break to drive himself crazy, going through multiple AI's and just being a bit insane or addicted to comfort.

Okay, there is one hole in the Storyline that might be answered later. I've been hearing that Linkara is starting to turn into Vyce and that Vyce may be an alternate universe version of Linkara. My question is: If that's true, why hasn't Linkara's Gun and all of his Magical Tech stopped working (Referencing the Gunslinger Arc)?

You know what, now that I'm thinking about it, I have an idea as to how this storyline will end. I doubt it's the one Linkara have in mind, but it's something. Namely that, yes, the Entity is alive and is in Linkara's head. BUT it's true end goal is to play both Linkara and Vyce so as to have a suitable host to be in, namely Vyce. He does this by driving Linkara friends away to 90's Kid, who is on Vyce's side, and he'll tell them that Linkara's odd actions were because of the Entity and that they need to kill it before Linkara's ship is built. But Vyce is the only one who can truly kill it and, when they capture Linkara, he'll go into Linkara's soul, right into the Entity's trap. Now Linkara and his friends need to stop the Entity possessed Vyce before it's too late. I prefer this one rather than either Linkara or Vyce is right here is because, quite frankly, both options suck. If Linkara's right, then he is justified in taking over satellites and creating uber powerful weapons in the name of 'the greater good'. If Vyce is right, then everything Linkara did over the storyline is pointless. Having both sides be wrong and falling into the Entity's trap shows that, no, Linkara is not justified in doing these things, BUT if Vyce worked with him rather than against him, the Entity threat would've been stopped without the tears and loss that happened AND Linkara still have a chance of fixing his mistakes and makes what happened still means something. Again, this may be 100% wrong, but I like my theory. XP

"Terrifying Glory"... that sounds Exactly like how Missingno described itself in that story!... i remember a comment in the last storyline Ep. thought that Linkara may be the one turning into the new Entity!... that looks like quite the possibility!

Watching this story segment made me think of something. What if making Linkara paranoid and drive away his allies is part of Vyce's plan? After all, the one who gave Linkara the "message from the future" was 90s Kid, the guy working for Vyce. For all we know, he knew Linkara would obsess over what the message could be, and become even more obsessed over it. He'd want Linkara's forces divided so he'd be easier to conquer, so it's likely this is all just Vyce playing the long game.

It took me a moment to realize why Lewis was narrating the comic that way. It really has been a long time since Miller Time.

So, it's been kinda sitting here for a while and I thought it kinda likely/obvious with the foreshadowing, but has anyone else thought that the Entity (or what's left of it) is inside Linkara's (the character) head playing literal mind games with him? It seems like that's where the storyline is heading right now (what with 90's kid willingly siding with Vyse and not wanting to talk to Linkara, the King of Worms' death, and Linkara's general descent into Well-Intentioned Extremism), and I'm surprised it's taking a while for the reveal to happen in-universe. Is there any evidence against it? Also, interesting note, Linkara started out as the White Player (went back to check the first chess game). So... it looks like he's losing the mental fight...

Frank Miller also did the screenplay and story for Robocop 2. Even had a cameo as Frank, the drug lab guy who get's blown up in the lab trailer.

"If Skynet can send multiple Terminators back in time, why not send like 50 or so?" I haven't seen literally ANY of the Terminator movies, so idk for sure, but my understanding was that the whole point was to keep the timeline intact to insure they still won, and still sent those Terminators back. Sending 50 or so would cause major changes to the timeline and create paradoxes, if not possibly make it so that that scene of them killing that last kid and finally winning doesn't happen. Which is the opposite of what they want. I think. Like I said I haven't watched the films so I'm not even 100% sure how time travel works in that universe.

I have to admit, the quite sincere line was pretty damned funny to me.

Haven't really had much to say about the "Sleepwalker" storyline. While it was the first arc I got to see unfold, I don't remember much. Part of that is because time has passed and have alot going on in my life. Doesn't everyone? Anyway, I like the set up here. Like how Lewis is getting paranoid again and pushing everyone away while making questionable decisions. Yes, as much as I like the "Gun and Sorcery" (and still do) it's important to realize that we are human and FORGET what we've learned, especially when pressured.
