Gow do you hundle a house of 2 floors? Specially when it has to go back for cleaning and for refreshing water.

You need to move both the dock and the robot. You can save multiple maps for each floor

Could you please provide us with the water consumption of the station water tank to refill the robot tank and wash the mops, for exemple if set to medium scrub and return to station every 100 square/feet (or based on your usual settings), how much water is used from the station ?

At maximum mopping settings with intense scrubbing on it used around 500 ml of fresh water on the floor and produced around 400 ml of waste water. My house is around 80-90m2 but the app says the robot cleaned around 60 m2 of floor.

Hi what detergent you added to the water ?and is it safe for the machine ?

I added just a tap of floor detergent. Just make sure it doesn’t make foam. It’s not recommended to use it but I use it with all the products and never had problems

What was the cleaning solution you added? Roborock says not to add a cleaner to the mopping water.

Just a tap of water cleaning. I know but I prefer the good smell and it’ a really small amount for a lot of water

Just a tap of floor cleaning the one you use for manual floor cleaning with mop

Thanks for the video! How is the robot and charging station functioning today after about five months? Were there any technical problems?

No problem at all. It works very well. You can even set an option to charge in the off peak hours when electricity costs less. I cleaned the washing mop dock 2 times and still haven’t dumped the dustbin even if it’s almost time! Right now I’m testing the Ecovacs x1 Omni. It’s pretty much the same but mopping is better with spinning pads, but it’s also more expensive

I used for a month before the video and then until a couple of weeks ago when I tested the x1 Omni. Usually I passed it once or twice a week. I added a tap of cleaning solution every time I refilled the dock reservoirs. The important is that it doesn’t make bubbles or foam because you should rewash the floor.

I plan on builidng a garage in my kitchen for this. what would be the minimum height required for this unit while still being able to remove the dust bin?

You need to add to the height of the dock another half height so the minimum height would be around 1.5x times the dock height

@@kylegurney8610 the dustbin cover is shorter so you can get away with less than 1.5x Also it’s a very rare thing like every 1-2 months so it should not worry you

The milk probe must have been quite a mess in the dust container - I understand what you wanted to show but I do not think the robot is made for it.

Yeah it’s definitely a stress test for review. To be honest not as bad as I expected in the dustbin. It handles pretty well. The best scenario is mopping dried liquids. Otherwise you should disable suction power and just go full mopping so that the milk doesn’t go in the dustbin

Hi, I did not understand if you can set the frequency of coming back to the dock to wash the mop (for instance, every 10 or 15 minutes). Where can I buy it in Italy?

Yes you can set the time like every 15 minutes or what you want or for each room or you can leave the robot to decide. It will be available from may 2 so when I’ll be able I’ll update the links. Maybe you can preorder from Roborock website.

Ah, another things: do you know if it's possibile to split the expense, by buying the roborock su vmax with the charging dock only and, after a while, buy the advanced dock?

@@ilgalaxydizatarra I would say yes because it comes in 2 boxes as you see in the unboxing. In the first there is the S7 MaxV with regular charging dock and in a separate box there is the big dock, so technically it’s possible. We’ll have to wait may 2 to know for sure but I’m pretty confident you can.

Can I ask you, when the very first time you unboxing your unit, is it coming with a 0 battery or not? Do you have to put it manually by yourself to charge it for the first time or is not? I can’t even turn on mine to try the wifi becuase it’s come with 0 battery, just want to check whether is normal

Mine arrived with some battery. Anyway you must put it charging on the dock manually and you will shortly see some lights blinking. Look if the contacts are correctly placed agains the robot

I’m 90% confident there in as on/off button under the top plate. Just lift it and you should be fine. You should have checked instruction manual

Sisi. Diciamo che ho provato altri robot come l’ecovacs x1 Omni ed il Dreame L10s ultra e devo dire che preferisco i mocetti rotanti al panno vibrante, ti consiglio di andare a vedere i video. Come mappatura e logica secondo me Roborock vince

Every week change fresh and dirty water. Every couple of weeks clean the robot and the filter. Every month clean the dock’s mop washing section. Every 2 months change dustbin. This is on my usage of 2-3 clean per week

Yeah definitely it’s true, but consider that for my house takes more than one hour to vacum+mop. You should double that time making things individually so it’s more convenient. In my opinion battery life should last for everything in a single charge
