Great video! Got my ultra a week ago and i must say it's the best of the best! With the functional dock, it totally frees my hand. What impresses me most is that the camera and the video call, so sometimes i can watch my little puppy at home when i'm outside. Abosolutely love it!

The robot bundle in black is so cool that attracts my eyes at first sight. The cleaning comparison of coffee and ketchup stain on the ground is amazing. Thanks for your sharing, I thought the auto wash function is only a publicity stunt before watching this video, but it seems it really cleans the dirty mop. Big relief to my hands.

Used the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra for 2 weeks so far😸I must say I'm totally obsessed with it!! The mop washing, AI avoidence and self-emptying features are amazing. No babysitting is required. All I need to do is regular maintenance of the dock. This is definately a life changer💕

Done a lot of reasearch and finally decided on the S7maxV Ultra. Here's some real user experience. I have a retriever and she sheds a lot. The robot did a pretty good job at picking things up. The auto bin sucks up the dirt after cleaning. The mopping is nice as well. I schedules it to mop and vac every 7:00am. It's really nice to wake up to see my floor clean and tidy. The mop is also clean after washes. Saves me from hours of cleaning each week!

This is great, am looking for one. How is going between rooms when there is a transition strip in a doorway? A normal sized bump in the doorway say between dining room and kitchen, can it get over the bump?

Well you're wrong with one thing, it does not avoid cables. It's important to remove all loose cables from the floor so that the little brush on the side doesn't get tangled in.

Ahhhh THAT'S what it was!! I knew an $849 price tag on a $1399 item was too good to be true.....didn't stop it from selling out though

It will last for a long time. First thing to break will be the mop brush but they will add spare parts to the stores to sell like they did with the wheels

I have an older version (S6) and it has been running for almost every day for 3 years and covered an equivalent of 11 square miles. I just replace the brush and do the required maintenance. For what it's worth, if you take care of it, it'll go a long way.

They arent good at avoiding cables/cords unless they are bunched up.

Whats the difference between max v and max v plus. Also, unless I am looking at it wrong max v looks like it has a bigger tank the the plus edition. Been using the neato D7 for a long time but their more modern version seems inferior compared to the others

The MaxV Plus only has auto dust bin emptying. The MaxV Ultra does auto dust emptying, auto-mop cleaning, and auto water filling.

S7 MaxV is the robot itself. S7 MaxV Plus is a combo unit with the robot and the auto dust bin and the S7 MaxV Ultra has the Docking station with all the bells and whistles. They all use the same robot the S7 MaxV, no differences there.

This is a well built vacuum, but my kids provide all the free labor I need.

Doesn't address the main downfall I've had with my robovac- long hair binding up the brush. I have a Eufy version and it does a great job, but within about 4 days there is so much long hair wound on the brush that it binds up the brush and causes it to fail. It has a nice tool to cut out the hair and other fibers and get them out of the brush, but I've never had it run an entire week without failing due to the brush binding up with something.

Thats just part of maintenance on the vac. I have a roomba and I have to cut the hairs off the brush about every 4 days as well. The vac doean't "fail" it just wont clean as well though.

The best robot vacuums for long dog fur have no center brushroll. The very inexpensive iLife V3+ and V5 Pro are probably the best on the market. Unfortunately they are not good on carpet. If you only have hard floors, they may be the way to go. They are very basic with no wifi and random movement, but there are a couple other manufacturers that offer brushroll-free vacuums. A company called Light 'n' Easy makes one with a self-emptying base, but I cannot find replacement parts for it anywhere.

I (albeit infrequently) use an older roomba (690? 660? It starts with a 6 that’s all I remember lol) for cleaning hair from my main bathroom, and I’ve never had an issue with hair binding up the brush. My gf sheds like a husky, and wads of hair are everywhere all of the time. We also have multiple cats. I really only use the roomba if time is of the essence, or as a stopgap for deeper cleaning. My roomba IS a “pet” specific version, so I’ve no idea if that matters or not, but that’s the point I wanted to make. I would assume pet-specific robot vacuums would work much better when dealing with stuff like hair 🤷🏻‍♂️

It does both. The base station cleans the rollers.

It's pretty quiet even on turbo mode, haven't tried max yet. The auto empty dock is a bit loud when emptying but it's not too bad

Hard floors? Yes, the S7 MaxV is better. The i7 is fantastic for thick carpet though.

Both are good robots but the X1's inability to do both carpets and hard floors is a major bummer

I trust your knowledge but you take in a lot of sponsor videos which I’m 2022 is a red flag for reviewers if you really know how KZfaqr reviewers make their money… once again i trust your knowledge but i would feel much more comfortable taking your word/review on a product that isn’t paying you. All in all I’ll still click your videos. You put me on on a lot of tech. I just hope every video I’ve watched was honest reviews and not a promo run for the product. Thanks

Is this a one-off mistake, or is the new direction of this channel? Your credibility would not have been damaged had you simply purchased the vacuum.

I’m very strategic about sponsored videos. I conducted this video the same way I would conduct it if it weren’t sponsored. I legitimately believe this is the best robot vacuum combo. Unlike channels who leave out the required FTC statement letting you know it’s sponsored I prefer to be open and honest with my audience.
