I much prefer this over his English lines, tbh.

In the English lines they have him say "smash them all!" while you're breaking robots as if he's cheering for you. Seeing as something as ambiguous as that isn't said in the Japanese lines and I doubt the shoddy translations did it intentionally (I mean they made that end line gender specific so it doesn't fit with Team Rose, oversights like that make me doubt it was intentional), but to me as a kid it ended up looking like a subtle hint that it was really Metal Sonic relishing in you destroying Eggman's things and making him look bad. I still think it's neat even if it wasn't intentional.

I prefer this original Japanese quotes and wish they kept it in the English dub. It sounds more in character for Eggman to say and makes him sound a little more menacing and ominous.

As someone who grew up with the game and has 100%'d it plenty of times and even tried speedrunning it, It's pretty mediocre. I love it because of personal reasons and I'm a huge Sonic fan, but even I know that especially as a follow up to SA2 it's a rushed, slapped together mess that further confused the brands identity and clearly valued quantity over quality when it came to content. It's still really charming and I like it though.

Getting rings for each robot you defeat with their Team Blast is so powerful. You get the next one charged almost immediately, and can just continue to spam Team Blast much faster than any other team. I remember ending Robot Carnival with 800+ rings with Team Chaotix.
