It’s because the second group were band nerds. If you eat candy or really anything during practices, you get punished because you can’t have remains of food on the mouthpiece of the instrument because it causes germs. If anyone else noticed, the group of guys who put it back together and called them out was the first group of guys he went up too who politely took the candy and said thank you.
