Probably the funniest Robot Wars fight ever! Pants flying out of the arena, Anty B falling under the floor flipper, Anto fruitlessly trying to move without wheels and... just Razzler.

I spoke to a few of these people at Brighton. Apparently, there was someone underneath the arena operating the floor flipper.

Aww, that was bloody hilarious! I thought it'd be a farce, but when the robots are that small, a well-engineered flipper can be AMAZING. The bit where one got stuk under the flipper was fantastic!

How the roboteers got equipment & the rest of the stuff in 150g is amazing. If they had mini house robots would be amazing. Imagine if they had a walker antweight.

This is perhaps the best and most entertaining battle on RW, undoubtably the funniest! Antweight is the way to go as it's cheaper, bots are easier to build, bots are easy to carry about to matches. I love the bots being so light, they go flying like Pants did!

Gotta second the comments about the Antweights! Superb fun. Now they've scrapped the arena and house robots (so I heard), this may be the only way to get some sort of Robot Wars back on telly! Superb - tabletop warfare almost! Hey, that's a thought - you reckon the local Games Workshop would let me use their battleground diorama for an Antweight melee? They'd need to clear the Space Marines off first...oh there's a thought, an Antweight robot made from a Space Marine tank?! Worth a try :)

@BellyLover06 lol the chaos 2 toy, when I was about 7 Razer, Hypno Disc and Chaos 2 all came to meadowhall for a weekend and all 3 teams had made the toys remote controlled and they fought them on the floor lol, hypno disc won

@TheMokamola antweight - you're restricted to one pound. With the larger robots you have a lot more leeway room for components.

@TheCaaze Find an airplane or professional RC hobby shop, have them educate you on relays, servos, speed controllers, and radio crystals and have them explain to you what controller you'll need based on how many channels your robot will require.

i can rerember, i had 8 little robots, about 1kg each, and they had spikes and wedges, one had an axe and one had a flipper, but they didnt work since it didnt have electronics lol

no that's FLEAweight. Antweight is 16 oz, one pound. the largest antweight league was called SOZBOTS for this reason! The S stood for SIXTEEN.
