7805 is low ampere 5 volts voltage regulator. It is useful for making mobile charger for mobiles used 3 to 4 years back. Present day mobiles take 2 ampere charging current whereas 7805 delivers only 100 milli ampere. Hence, charging indicator will show charging but there will not be any charging at all with 7805 to the present dat mobiles.

The LED on the charger is always glowing even when bike ignition switch is off. It reduces battery longibity...

only with 5v + and - means charging slower. data cables should be 1.2v. so the charge will be 1750 mAh.

What's the Output current 1amp or 2 amp? Generally smartphone these days need at least 2-2.4 ampere current

Good video and useful concept. One thing I must say instead of breaking PCB and destroying other components you should have used heat gun to delsolder the components (although these components were flimsy and cheap) I hate to destroy components like this. Thanks again for the video.

ye IC only 200-300mAh ka current hi de sakti hai....jab bar phone ko minimum 500mAh to chahiye...sahi se charge hone ke liye
