The way the are vilifying Robert is annoying. He didn't run off with another man. He sacrificed his happiness so Aaron could have a life. It is an insult to his character development. Aaron has every right to be mad but be mad for the right reasons. God forbid Aaron mourn for a minute. Do the writers realize character don't have to be banging someone every second, there are other stories? They didn't have to have Aaron hate and more on from Robert in a afternoon.

Chas couldn't wait to dump on Robert. She's been longing to get rid of him forever. But an Aaron w/o Robert is going to be a nightmare for her. Quite deservedly. Actually, if Robert blocks contact with Vic and Diane it's no great loss to him. Their love for him is always tinged with criticism, carping.and lack of understanding or sympathy.

Writers made a mistake having Chas to tell Aaron to move on. Aaron need to fight for his MAN.

You’ll nuts (not you guys in the comments) if you think Aaron is just going to “move on” after everything him and Robert have been through. It never works with anybody else. Robert did what he did to protect Aaron (not in the best way I’ll admit) So if the writers make it so Aaron just moves on within the month then it’s ridiculous. Look I know Ryan has left so what else can they do? Considering how much they fought for each other in the past... yeah it’s over but there’s always a chance that things could change in the future... if Roberts character ever did return (hopefully Ryan still portraying him) he wouldn’t be the same Robert that’s for sure Sad thing is that Robert never got to justify his actions and Aaron never got to talk to him about it. Aaron never gets the happiness he deserves and neither did Robert.

I'm incredibly disappointed in the Emmerdale writers. This storyline is CRAP. But I don’t think they care...that is until the sponsor’s frozen food sales figures drop, due to less viewership.

Chas's behavior gives me fricken whiplash. Either the writers are really that stupid, or the continuity team really sucks or Chas KNOWS something and isn't telling aaron. But this is ridiculous and totally out of character for Chas given just yesterday she was the opposite.

I am so mad after 5 years I'm watching this relationship and being in a similar relationship to watch another gay couple finally get through everything marry each other and they end up like this I was so upset I can't believe it

The first part, when he talks to the blondie (sorry, I don't know much about this show), they're great. Their performances are honest, raw, and also managed: they are their characters, but they're also actors who are in control. But the ending really disappointed me. He had all the emotions bottled up inside, and he never let go of what he had. The minute she said it was over, I was expecting this huge breakdown. That would have been amazing. That's the director's fault, in my opinion: he needs someone to say 'Now. Let go. Open the gates'.

This storyline twist plot will certainly loss views so the season finale will be upon us

Wow this storyline isn’t good at all and emmerdale are going to loose a lot of robron viewers I understand Ryan chose to leave so what ever happened it was going to be sad hopefully he comes back soon cos Aaron character left for like two years to at least they didn’t kill him of that gives us hope for a reunion but I didn’t like chas dissing rob yes he shouldn’t have done it but he gave up going on the run so Aaron could stay here and have a life with his family and I don’t really understand why he has blocked contact Ik they had to with the actor leaving but I guess rob wants Aaron to move on instead of waiting on him for years but rob and Aaron are soulmates and Aaron won’t move on this quick at all he will properly bottle it all up and then it will all come out I hope Ryan comes back and we get robron back they are soulmates evryone knows it even emmerdale they are been though too much to let go

The writing is all boo hoo bawwwwww poor Aaron this ,poor Aaron that,poor Aaron always the victim ,that happened to him , this happened to him, thats why his like this blah blah. The Emmerdale writers really did have a ridiculous hard on for doomed Aaron which turned me for one off the character. I went from him being my favourite to not being able to wait to see the back of him. Thats what happens when you make a character the same old predictable- viewers lose interest and turn off. The character was made one dimensional-lets have something doom Aaron and have him blubber and self harm yet again! jeez yawn yawn😴😴. Talk about just milking a character for sympathy for all you can. I'm sorry but I only have a very limited amount of sympathy for a fictitious character and the well was run dry on that agesss ago. I dread to think what the writers have lined up for Aarons return for the 50th! I'm pleased I'm no longer a regular viewer of this ridiculous OTT incredibly difficult to take seriously overblown over melodramatic unrealistic drivel!
