This song was tough to handle when I was a teenager; it's harder now as an adult because I understand so much more. Their song "Wait" is a much happier song so give that a listen.

An even sadder White Lion song is "Broken Home". It is so much better than Suzanne Vega's "My Name Is Luka".

As teenagers in the 80s, we really thought we were the future. We would be the generation that changed hate. Almost 40 years later, it feels like we did nothing 😢

This song always makes me cry. With all the idiocy happening right now as we speak, we need to make sure that the kids won't continue to grow up in such a horrible existence. Its definitely up to the adults to bring us back to normalcy for their sake. This song is one of their best.

I feel blessed to have been born in 1953, caught the best of the late 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s the true golden age of music. Baby boomers were truly lucky to have been old enough to experience these eras. Peace

This one and “Wait” were their two big top-ten hits. They also did a really good cover of Golden Earring’s “Radar Love”, the original of which Jay reacted to by himself early on.
