That robust handle is nice and quick to work with.

Thanks Mike, i have the 5/8 handled and love it. Holds an edge very well. I'll be looking to go collet in the future.

Collet systems are fast for sure. I have Simon Hope's system here in the UK and would certainly recommend them.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve thought a lot about going to collet handles. I don’t seem to have issues with sharpening with the handles on. Where I do see the advantage is that when replacing a tool you don’t have the expense of the new handle as well. There has been a good bit of discussion re: using compression connections. I may try that with a tool or two before going through the expense of buying the various sizes we’d need. Thanks for the info.
