Hi Rob that was a very interesting take on feeder links. I like to make up running feeder rigs with a swivel type bead and attach the link to the clip. This is so i can change the length of link, or just run a feeder on the bead or change to a weight adjustable link ledger, but i love those tidy links and will try them out for myself. incidentally i use a couple of grippa stops which kick the twizzled loop out nicely. Please keep the video's coming as I love learning new things like this! Take care of yourself and family in this difficult time. Regards Bill

Try my best mate - just in case though - I use a three turn water knot, so have to pull the whole shocker through three times which is a pain but it leaves a lovely little knot

Morning Rob. I have a question,if you don't mind. What's a good catapult.for waggler maggot and caster.there are so many.on the market. Do you make up your own.or use from your sponsors.thanks.
@RobWootton

I use an drennan catapult - the ones with revolving pins and bright green elastic - i shorten the elastic and change the pouch to a nylon one.

hi great vid, would you use a feeder link if your casting say 60 or so meters for bream, thanks
@RobWootton
@RobWootton 4 жыл бұрын
Cheers, Not for proper bream no- Feeder links do have the tendency to tangle on long chucks and for bigger fish I’m not sure they’re necessary

Is there any situations where you'd use a feeder link on a river? Been using the twizzled boom for a while now it transformed my feeder fishing

Very rarely as I like to fish for drop backs on a river - maybe when casting a long way downstream it could be useful.
