Hello Lester! Shout out to Vickery for the great advice. They could have just brought what you ordered knowing it would sink in and that you would probably have to purchase more rock in order to get the needed effect. They obviously have integrity and pride themselves on their customer service. They also employee quality employees. The driver did an excellent job dumping the rock. The driveway is looking great. I can't wait until the fencing is up and the grass gets really green again it is going to look fantastic!

Amazing what a little stone can do to completely change the look of your driveway. JL Ranch Drive looks GREAT!!. Walking the dog, drop spreading stone evenly from a box and spreader pan is easy once you do it 2-3 times.💪🏻😊. Just like learning your attachments on a tractor. Vickery did a nice job. Looks like a nice solid base. You are right, Stone does attract water. Does Vickery have a stone compacting roller? Grade 8 with crushed limestone screenings can be a finishing top layer for stability and will minimize shoulder drop, sink holes and prevent pot holes. I am so excited for your fence build. Thanks for sharing the updates and progress.

We had to do the same with our driveway after I got stuck with my 4x4 up to the doors. My driveway is 1/2 a mile long up the side of a mt. but we had to lay fabric down first then crushed stone. You will love it when all is said and done
