21 Road starts at Highway 50/Interstate 70 and extends north to the Book Cliffs on the horizon. While you might expect the road to terminate where it hits the Books Cliff Mountain Range, it in fact continues up Hunter Canyon into the mountains. While this is an "out and back" for most full body Jeeps, it can be run all the way through if you're down for some buggy lines!
21 Road, and the 21 Road Toad have been adopted by the Grand Mesa Jeep Club over the years in the interest of keeping this amazing Western Slope trail accessible and open.
