We take 4 runners rock crawling in Sand Hollow after having to come to Hurricane for a Jeep Rental! A wonderful gentleman has these great Jeeps that are sufficiently built and overlanding gear to rent too! This was amazing in allowing us to make this part of the trip even possible! We did park it at Sand Hollow instead of taking it in, since it's a rental!
We travelled to Sand Hollow, Toquerville Falls, Lake Powell, The Grand Staircase, The Grand Wash, The Capital Reef, Highway 12 Scenic Byway (Hogback Ridge) and Bryce Canyon!
We found some amazing places to camp along the way from Lake Powell to The Grand Staircase. I wish we could have spent more time up in Capital Reef and Bryce Canyon! There were so many trails that we didn't take only because we did not have the time! Just another reason to go back! We took all the families to Sand Hollow and overlanding to the National Parks! We learned a lot on this trip with the kids and how to navigate being off-grid for so many days at a time! We learned what works and what doesn't work especially with the kids all together. We had a great time in just the journey of making it from one spot to the next! We found that we loved every second of it and we can't wait to do it again! Shortly after this we get our AT Habitat installed from Equipt Outfitters in Salt Lake City Utah! So much more to come... so stay tuned!
