Rock Dove/Pigeon Courtship in St James' Park, London

Жыл бұрынA couple clips of a pair of Rock Doves doing their courtship display. On a pedantic note, technically these are feral pigeons - in the UK, true Rock Doves live almost exclusively in Scotland. The ones you see in London are feral pigeons and are not properly speaking a 'wild' bird. But the line, I would argue, is a bit blurred. Anyway, I doubt the birds care much one way or the other!

Yes, they're rock doves. Domestic pigeons are domesticated rock doves. So they're the same species (columba livia).
