Hiking to the many waterfalls at Rock Island State Park in Tennessee was one of the highlights of our year! There is such a variety of hikes and trails to multiple waterfalls, some of which you can walk or swim under, that there seems to be something for everyone! This is a popular place in the summer, so if you want to avoid crowds don't come on the weekend. We didn't have much of a choice because of the timing of when we were passing through town, but it was still an amazing place and we can't recommend it enough.
