When this came out I could not convince anyone to see it with me. Had to go alone. No computer generated animation fantasy crap, just singing, acting, and dancing. One of my favs.

I did not know anything about this movie until 2016 when i saw it at a place i was working. I went and bought a down load and when not having a good day or week. I will watch it. I found it had bad reviews. I guess those people do not like great music, and great production work to bring these classic songs in a new way. My son watched it with me his first time and loved it. He loves the 80s and he knew all the songs but 2 and was singing with them.

Okay seeing this number live I realized that was so wrong with the movie. They did the musical numbers in a campy and funny way. They should have taken the musical more seriously and do big stuff like we saw here. Maybe do like Rob Marshall did with Chicago. The musical numbers in the characters heads, so they could have made the musical numbers with great choreographies and great rock costumes. The only good musical number in the film was wanted dead or alive. And it’s really a shame they didn’t include come on feel the noise. They just did it as an credits presentation. That song should have been on the movie. And that movie needed more Bon Jovi. You give love a Bad name or living on a prayer would have been incredible

@Ki08935 жыл бұрын
lol you do realize metal/rock and any other form of rock started out like this. The movie was in the 80's era, when rock started.
@marusapenic5 жыл бұрын
Kyra Knight rock didn’t start in the 80s, it started in the 50s and it developed in the 60s into a range of different styles. It has its roots in the 40s and 50s of rock and roll, which drew heavily on the genre of blues, rhythm and country music. A lot of people think of late rock when people mention rock, but it isn’t always so. Rock and roll had a very good golden period of 60 years.
