Good build, I will be trying that substrate mix as well. Melamine? Nicer plywood that was pressure treated and coated with fiberglass resin works. (cabinet birch too pricy) Glass always pain to find 1/4 in standard but 1/8 will work. Hobby craft has cheaper and better tracking.
