Dimash Kudabergen, living legend, genius singer, one in a million, no, one in a billion. With 23 years of classical training, he has become a unique vocalist. He has an amazing musical education, all the technical details he sings and uses, he knows how it works. He is musical perfection. There is no technical detail that he doesn't have, no one has ever had such talent and skills, he can be bass, baritone, tenor, counter tenor, alto, mezzo soprano, soprano and so on, he sings in 15 languages, he has the biggest range . He sings many genres, opera, pop, rap and so on. In addition to the talent that God gave, the work that he did is amazing. From the age of 5, he dedicated his life to music, did everything to develop it (swimming in the pool, breathing control, range, healthy lifestyle)He is an amazingly humble, warm simple man, apart from his musical excellence, as a person he is an amazing person. His songs are exceptionally complex both technically and emotionally, he is able to properly develop emotion in music both vocally and artistry.Dimash has fans (called dears) from 150 countries around the world. I'd say his fans are special because we don't love Dimash because he has good looks (well, he's very attractive and cute) or because his performances are fun (unlike other pretend singers who are more performers than singers and vocalists). We love him because of the talent he has, because of the work he has done almost all his life. He deserves everything. There is no other singer who can be compared to him, he is at the apogee of development.He plays 7 instruments, loves the culture of his country and wants to introduce it to the world. As I already wrote, he is very educated, he is still studying. he has 2 degrees in classical and contemporary, and on the way to a doctorate in musicology.Dimash has an incredible range that no one has ever had, full range 7.7 octaves, from G0 to D8. ( D8 whistle note , off the piano) Has very good details, staccato, distinctive vibrato, rifs, melizens, vocal acrobatic, glissando, crescendo, dominoendo, long notes, breath control, correct tesitura, Able to develop emotion properly, fit roles well . Uses professional technique, Italian Bell Canto technique. In his song it feels like he is a professional even without high notes.Unfortunately, as always, geniuses are appreciated late, this guy deserves much, much more recognition, I hope the time will come and he will be properly appreciated. I also want to mention that Dimash is like a drug. I have been listening to him for the third year, I can't imagine a day without listening to him, he is the best, not because he sings high notes and has a great range, but because he enters the soul with his song and you feel something you have never felt before. .But if we consider it from a technical point of view, in this case too Dimash is the best. As vocal teachers and professionals say, his singing is technical perfection.Dimash's parents are singers, his mother is a soprano, his father is a singer and also a producer, as far as I know, Dimash's grandparents are singers, so from a musical point of view, Dimash has good genetics, he has a natural innate talent, which he developed after 23 years of work, and we have a unique singer in front of us. I could probably write a lot more, but I'll stop now, I want more people to know about him, believe me, you won't regret it. I hope I conveyed what I wanted to say correctly.

@@mayganphynix8267 I don’t know the background of the person you’re laughing at but I speak 5 languages, English being my third and you have to understand that in some languages they do not have the same pronouns like in English. For example in Hungarian, there’s one and the same pronoun for male and female (“she” and “he” don’t exist for masculine and feminine, it’s some kind similar to “it” rather for both ) and they don’t have a neutral at all, they don’t have the actual “it”, so you have to learn that other languages have different grammatical structures and are totally different than your maternal language; therefore before you laugh at someone because that person might find the English equivalent to their thoughts difficult to translate, you should understand that the World speaks about 7151 languages and EACH of THEM has several dialects. Do the maths first and see if you feel like laughing at anyone again when it comes to the language skills… I speak 5 main foreign languages but I also know the 4 dialects of my maternal language like any other native speaker. What about you?

Now you just have to check out Unforgettable day from Gakku festival! Crowd of 150 000 witnessed Dimash highest whistle note D8 live! By the way Dimash composed this dong, when he was 19,lyrics was written by his father 💗 I recommend you check out Dimash concerts,you as a singer will enjoy that a lots. You will see,how Dimash involves crowd sing a long with him.Dimash Dears from enemy countries became a good friends in his concerts!

Hi. Just to clarify: The lyrics for Unforgottable day were written by Oral Baissengir. Dimash's father wrote the lyrics for My Beauty and Cherishing you. 🌼🌼🌼

Love your reactions thank you. Dimash always takes me to a journey with him no matter what song he sings. I can feel every note, he sings with so much passion and feelings. He lives the lyrics and music 🎶. He once said in an interview that if you were to open his brain all you’ll see is music. I think music runs through his veins. Best vocalist in the world.

Yes, it’s popular not just in Kazakhstan but also in this video in China because he sang it at Singer 2017. Dimash composed this song at age 17, and every time he performs it, he changes the final ad lib section. The version I always recommend however, is the one at Gakku concert, where he inadvertently threw out a D8, now legendary, which is the highest recorded note he has ever sung.

While it is true that Dimash wrote the music for this song in his late teens, some either have been misled, or choose to ignore the fact that the lyrics were written by the father of a boyhood friend of his named Oral Baisengir. Baisengir also wrote the lyrics to "My Swan" and co-wrote the lyrics to "Qairan Elim". The lyricist used to have a Facebook page describing the time that Dimash came over to his house with the music, asking that he compose lyrics for it. I guess it's more romantic to ignore that fact. Usually people request the performance at Gakku which has his highest note sung.

Thank you for this comment. I think some people confuse Unforgettable day with My Beauty, for which Dimash's father wrote the lyrics. But is it that common? The only history I've heard is anyway the one you told.🌻🌻🌻

@@pirkkoukkonen8039 I think in the West, when we say that somebody "wrote" a song, in the age of singer/songwriter recording artists, it is assumed that the person wrote both the music and lyrics. If you Google the song, half of the sites don't mention Mr.Baisengir at all, they just say Dimash wrote it. Then there used to be fan sites where people would speculate on a lost love interest of Dimash. (Gloria Wu's translation says "How can I give you to another".) In Ms.Wu's "Story behind the song" she doesn't mention that he didn't compose the lyrics, but only the music. I'm not saying that Dimash didn't tell the Oral Baisengir what to write about though. It just looks like all these years later, people are still jumping to conclusions about some mysterious former love interest that Dimash was writing the lyrics about, when he didn't write them.

@@-R.Gray- and @Pirkko Ukkonen Yes that is true, Dimash did not write many of the lyrics for his songs. We can see a wide range of lyric writers for the songs he sings on his Wiki page. I don't think it is his talent to write lyrics and he knows that, so why waste time trying? Get the experts in! It is his talent to sing. Yes he has composed the music for a few songs, but not that many. I think that with time he will probably compose more. His producer-arranger Yerlan Bekchurin is almost always the co-creator these days. Dimash may do a demo, or sings to him in the studio and demonstrates what he wants to happen in the song - the melody, the instruments coming in where and when and how, and then Yerlan helps to create it from that. They work hand-in-glove together. So who is the writer of the music? If it was Dimash's original idea it is Dimash. Yerlan helps him to sculpt it into something real. If he needs lyrics he asks someone to provide them, but I'm sure he gives guidance on what the song is about, and I'm sure if he wasn't happy with the lyrics he would get someone else to do them, or have them changed. It appears that Dimash is a better collaborator than solo writer. He likes bouncing ideas off others and creating magic with them - it is more stimulating for him and gets a better result. Dimash says there are so many more things he has to learn about composing and singing. He wants to do it all but he isn't there yet. It's a bit sad that people criticise him for not being a 'true' singer-songwriter, as if he isn't as worthy as someone who locks him/herself in a bedroom and composes everything they sing. But why on earth should he be a singer-songwriter if that isn't his true passion? When I was growing up hardly any serious singer on TV wrote the songs they sang. They sang a cover version or a song that was composed for them. Everyone should follow their passion and not allow themselves to be boxed in by other people's expectations. Just look at what he gives us - he sings superb collaborations, covers and songs that have been written for him. I honestly don't think anyone has anything to complain about.

@@anniebygrave9300 I wasn't saying there was anything wrong with him not having written the lyrics to this song, just that there were people on line and in comments sections that were stating that he wrote them. The only reason I brought up the term singer/songwriter was that in pop or rock music these days when you say somebody "wrote" a song, it is usually assumed that the person also wrote the lyrics - but I don't think that's a given when it comes to classical music. So somebody reading online that Dimash "wrote" the song would assume that he wrote it about a personal experience, when that may or may not be the case, and one result is all of these people speculating about an old girlfriend. I can't see anything in my comment that criticized Dimash for not being a lyric writer, only those who falsely claim that he wrote them in this case.

Dimash wrote this song when he was a young man, and he always gets his audience to sing with him at his concerts. His dears know all of his songs, in languages they don't normally speak in; that's how much they love him and listen to him! I love this heart-felt performance, but Gakku version is also excellent!

This was a great performance of this song, and others may recommend you also watch his Gakku performance because he hits that super impressive D8 note, however I think his best performance of this song is from his 2021 Digital Show and it's titled in Kazakh "Ұмытылмас күн". I'm obsessed with that performance, he really really puts his all into it and his band and backup singers all do a tremendous job as well. I highly recommend you react to this song again with that performance, it's amazing.

Hi Strongdad. Dears (his fans) love this song, and each has his/her own favorite version. The Gakku version is popular because of the whistle note, but there are other, beautiful versions from his solo concerts where he sings with the audience and/or a guest. This was performed in China and he also sings one part in Chinese. I don't think many have seen this performance, so it really was a rare video (not my favorite, though). See you in your next Dimash reaction, I enjoy them!

Dimash fans (his “Dears”) often learn Dimash’s songs in various languages, even if they don’t speak that language, and sing along with him! In concerts, he often turns the mike towards the crowd, so they have a turn to sing!

Yes it’s amazing but the live at gakku version is unbeatable and you get to hear the amazing D8 note, his highest note so far. Plz plz plz react to the gakku unforgettable day. Dimash wrote this song when he was 19 years old

I have not seen this performance before and I could hear he wasn't hitting some of the improvised notes correctly, or he chose the wrong notes to sing sometimes, which in some small way is sort of nice because it shows he is only human and not an emotionless technical robot (which is often what his detractors say). 'He's just this guy you know'. Normal, human, fallible and even more likeable when he messes up a bit than when he's perfect. Loved your reaction. Thank you 🙂

Dimash sings this at every concert. Honestly, I like the song but this version is hard for me to watch. The background, I think, was awful. It was so intrusive. His red suit blended in with the colors and he was just lost in the background. I can’t think of any other performance he’s done where this has happened. He did a great job but the background was so distracting. Anyway, I know the history of this song has already been told to you. I’m happy you reacted to this because it’s Dimash’s own song. I enjoy your comments.
